Your Favorite Vegas Plug-ins?

Hi, what are your favorite Vegas plug-ins?

I'm asking because I'd like to make sure I'm not missing out on ones I should have, and to share what you all like best...

So far, mine are:

a) Ultimate S 3 - vasst.com (favorite!)
b) NewBluefx.com
c) Pixelan.com's spicemaster/creativease
d) Excalibur

and there were a couple of really good audio plug-ins that Jeffrey Fisher & Spot had recommended, I forgot their names though.. in their DVDs.. they were great...

Any others I'm missing? And, what would you like to see from the plug-in developer community that's not there now?

thx,

Ken

iZotope Ozone 3. I use it on all my audio. It's outstanding.

Obviously Ultimate S 3.0 too. ;-)

Do you know if there are any plug-ins that reduce camera shake? Cause that would really help some of my projects (not having a steady cam can rally hurt sometimes).

Oh and Ultamate S is awesome, and its funny that you mention Jeffrey Fisher cause he's my one of my school teachers.

hi - thanks! that was it, the ozone plugin ... trying to remember, because I have to reinstall everything on this new pc... appreciate it.. it was excellent .. spot did a great walkthrough as did Jeffrey Fisher, on the dvds...

I learn so much from everyone, much appreciated... also just ordered Vic Milt's new production DVD, from vasst.com .. (just released!) ... their training has really helped me a lot..

any other great plugins?

thx,

ken

Ken, I've opted not to use New Blue yet because it almost looks like I can get the same effects from Pixelan Creative Ease. Have you found a lot of value from New Blue that you don't find in Pixelan?

hi Paul, yes both are good.. for example I'm using the newblue zoom effect right now as we speak for my latest commercial, for a title transition effect... they're both good, 'must haves' imho.. I think there's enough different content effects + settings in both to warrant buying both... they have a demo, newblue.. eg motion video effects are great ..

Neat Video for Sony Vegas is a new and excellent noise reduction plug-in that both perform spatial and temporal noise reduction. See:

Don't forget all the free scripts available on the Vasst site. Any script written by johnmeyer is an essential must-have.

You are right, Brian - the vasst plugins are really good, I have had both S2 and S3 and the free of course and they are great ;-)
