Youtube Studio : "Sorry, we were not able to save your video."

When I'm setting my Private YouTube video list, after clicking the 'Save' button, got message from Youtube Web "Sorry, we were not able to save your video."

Anyone ever had this issue? What's the best way to deal with this?

Already trying in different account, different browser, latest video, and I just can't change or add any 'members' in the private list. I can change from, say, Unlisted to Private and vice versa... but can't change the email list in the Private List.

Wonder if this is universal YouTube issue, or just my issue.

I would send links to the private videos via G-Mail so can't comment on doing it within Youtube. Sorry.

Dear Set,

I have the exact same problem. I discovered it yesterday, 5 March 2025. I am not sure if it is universal, though. I took it further by uploading a new video - I could edit the Private list (exclusively on the new uploaded video), but am now limited to about 30 members... My old videos (about 450) - I can not edit the Private list at all.

Something else I tried (using Chrome as my browser) and can clearly see that there is an error:

After trying to add new members to my Private list and receiving the "sorry, we were unable to save" message
Click OK
Go back to the same video and open the Private list
Right click and select inspect
Click on console and info
You will see an error message: T1`Private share with links... but this is where I get stuck...

Hi @roe-r, just read your message... and I curious to google 'youtube private video limit user' and AI (Gemini) gives me the answer:

"There's a limit to the number of users you can share a private YouTube video with. You can share a private video with a maximum of 50 YouTube accounts. This means that you can individually authorize up to 50 specific YouTube accounts to view a private video. "

hmmm, in 2023 or earlier 2024.. I still able to add the list, although I never count on how many, just help friend for her videos, but I think this is newest clue and the closest reason of possible issue...
