YUY2 color space support and Frameserving ?

Is it possibel to add native YUY2 color space support in the future versions ? AS far I can tell the current version convert everything to RGB.
Also frameserving would be very helpful. Why isn't it there yet. Even free tool such as VirtualDub supports this.
