Z-depth image shows mask that I didn't do.

I'm trying to understand this, I saved this image as a png from Google ages ago, I haven't done anything with it esp cutting out, masking, etc. & applying to a background but this image shows just that ? 🤷‍♂️🤔

This is the orig.

Z-depth reveals the shape that was cut around the woman, the fact she's been cut n pasted onto a background is easy to understand but why does it show so strongly in Z-Depth? 🤷‍♂️, the hair flowing back first came to light.

Yes, Z-Depth struggles with things like flowing hair. I've played around with the settings a lot and it looks like that's a limitation that can't be overcome.

@Jack S Thanks, I think I understand a bit now, it's not the previous photo editors work showing, it's Z-depth not being able to fine tune the depth map/mask around the hair, so it sort of gets classed as one object & so a blob of hair rather than strands ,
