Z1 Cineframe 30p?

Read post here that recommended a Picture Profile for shooting the Z1 that included a Spot/DSE profile recommendation to shoot Cineframe 30p. The V7 New Project only shows an HDV 30p at 1280x720 with a square PAR. CineForm HDLink, I think, will simply capture at those project settings as long as I stay away from from the "Frame Rate Change" options.

But I'm still unclear, why shoot 30p in the first place? Searched about a great deal but clearly still in the dark.

Any insight appreciated, Darryl

I happen to like the look of 30p, some do, and some don't. It's definitely not a good choice for fast action, it will make your subject appear to be stuttered.
I've usedCineForm to capture my Cineframe footage, but haven't haven't seen the issue you're describing?

Gottcha, and thank you. With that kind of recommendation I'm preping to give it a go this weekend to see what the look is. Darryl
