Zoom Effect - SOLVED

Trying to create zoom effects using Platinum 9 and it's not working. The Help is useless.

I select an event and open the Pan/Crop tool. If I select the corner of the pan/crop box and move it, nothing happens. If I manually adjust the Zoom percentage, the effect seems to work in the Pan/Crop box but when I exit out and play the video, the effect is gone. Open up the Pan/Crop tool again and the zoom is back to the original.

Thoughts appreciated. Thanks.

The zoom percentage you mention will not change the video. Instead, it allows you to adjust the screen real estate when working on an effect.

Make sure you have the cursor within the event you are changing to make sure you see the effect.

Click and hold a corner and make the box smaller or larger and view the effect in the preview screen. Making the "F" box smaller will zoom in, and making it larger will zoom out. The "F" box is the frame that will be shown on-screen.

Thanks. When I tried it the first time, markers weren't being laid down on the timeline of the event where I clicked. Going back a second time, markers were laid down and the zoom effect worked.
