pan/crop is an extremly helpful and fun tool. I just put together a Christmas video of my family. At the end of the video I put together a picture show of all the digital pictures I took. You pick one interesting thing in the picture and zoom to it slowly. Or start zoomed in on something or someone interesting and zoom out slowly. In this particular video I never stopped the paning, the pictures are always moving. I put Bing Crosby's "White Christmas" under it. It turned out really neat.

You know where "pan/crop" is right? In the video clip on the timeline view, the pan/crop tool is at the upper right of the clip. Check out this link for help. http://www.wideopenwest.com/~wvg/tutorial-14.htm
