Zoom in and out keyframes

I am trying to make a clip zoom in and out after equal intervals on the timeline. I tried doing this using the smart zoom Fx, and then I clicked the animate clock to open the keyframe timeline. I created one keyframe for no zoom and created the next keyframe after a few frames for zoom in. Then I tried to copy the keyframes to paste it after the same number of frames, to repeat the process again and again. But when I paste the keyframe, the previous keyframe disappears. I am also not able to copy two keyframes at the same time.

Therefore, please tell me how I can accomplish this task?

I have attached the screenshot here.

Despite the name of this FX, Smart Zoom, it doesn't apply a zoom-in or zoom-out effect. This FX just enhances the resolution of your clips to maintain sharpness when zooming and cropping. For zooming and cropping better use the pan/crop tool.

The pan/crop tool is okay, but I find it difficult to use because when you need to make the zoom from normal to zoom-in, there need to be two key frames set - one for normal and the next for zoom-in. And then again, another two key frames for zoom-out and normal. That's why there should be equal distance between the key frames and there is no option to define the gap by entering the values, but can only be set manually using the cursor with the help of the arrow keys. Do you have any smart solution to this?

You can copy paste keyframe(s) and move them as you like.

Yes I tried that but it's a tedious job when the clip is too long.

You can copy/paste more than one keyframe a time, just first select all keyframes and then copy/paste. This way you can quickly copy/paste large groups of keyframes.
