zooming in and out in preview pane window

In the tutorial "easy masked text for your title" the author shows at 3.20 zooming in and out of the preview pane window. How does one achieve this? I note he is using pro20 so is this feature only available in that version please? Cheers John

Remarkable is also that maker of tutorial shows an new option in VP20 (zooming in on preview) but didn't show the new option in VP20 to create automatically (one mouseclick) a background for text, which makes his tutorial rather redundant.
