The runtime error message was similar: I get these kinds of error messages with both 14.40.33810 and 14.42.34433.0. I've tried with a previous download of Vegas build 194 and a recent download.

I checked using Revo Uninstaller which versions I already had: Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable (x64) - 14.40.33810 Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable (x86) - 14.40.33810 The latest version is 14.42.34433.0 I uninstalled
