  Serial number incorrect
  I purchased Vegas movie studio 17 platinum from Amazon and the serial number that was provided will not work. I have a Dell computer with windows 11 Pro.

  Was Amazon the direct seller of Vegas Movie Studio or was the seller a 3rd party individual or company using the Amazon platform as a means to sell Vegas Movie Studio? If the former, you'd need to contact Amazon about the issue and then if necessary

  MAGIX Vegas's official trial version of Vegas Pro 19 was only available during Vegas Pro 19's life span which was roughly from August 2021 to August 2022 - up until when Vegas Pro 20 was released. If you did not purchase Vegas Pro 19 from MAGIX

  I too had the same issue. Purchased same software at Amazon they gave me the serial for Sound Forge. I found the chat feature on Amazon and complained. They have refunded me.

  My understanding is that with Amazon purchases you get a voucher code which you redeem on the Magix site which then sends you the download link and serial number. Is that how you obtained yours? Amazon directs you to download it from the Amazon
