This just happened to me on ver 10. This works fine with 50+ scripts, there was a "more" arrow that scrolled the menu.

Anyone know how to copy markers
I am doing a promo highlight video and going to assign numeric values to the markers and use them as velocity changers. so the footage runs at different speeds. Something I want to try (mabye never again-but I think it would be cool for the project that I am working on)

I will review the tutorials but tis is specifically wheat I am trying to do: There is a black (with transparency) paint stroke that I want to use for layer 4 of video. I drag the brush to layer 3 and apply mask mode for this layer. I see, I think that I have to threshold it so that the black becomes white and then I can use the mask, so that layer 4 shows as the DJ stroke.

How to connect monitor to computer
Just save the money (if it is an issue) and hide the camera and connect monitor to it. I have three throwaways for capture and this.. SD though. One of the cards/boxes will do the same.Although the IO box that I work on MAC with gives professional tweaks, but I can't think what you would use those for ccoming from Vegas.

How 2 quickly tell if a txt object if a copy r not
Yes, I was wanting to see this in the timeline (or details). I think that I created copies, but after the 78th one, I begin to drop off and am doing wierd stuff. :) Seems like having details up and watching the "selected" checkbox and watcing the use count might work. Thank you.

Vegas VS Final Cut
I also bought Final Cut because everybody told me I should be using that software to cut with. Major dissapointment (just my opinion) - without the awesome plugins that make Music Videos interesting, I saw nothing that Vegas couldn't do FASTER. Now Motion, Color, livetype (at the time) are killer apps (imho) and I have not seen anyhing better that let's you CREATE works instead of reading up on how to do it. Aftereffects (CS4 or better) with the awesome plugins (many or the FC plugins are available for Aftereffects) seems to do many Motion effect. If you really want to invest in FCP I recommend izzyvideo.com's Final Cut Tutorials. Then take on a project and RENT/borrow a FCP bay from a friend then complete. It took me 3x longer to do a simple 3 min promo (but I've used Vegas since V3 when I did this. Back to Vegas as main NLE and FCP when I need...ugh.have to.
