VEGAS Pro 19 - General Discussion
One thing I find disconcerting....In the exclusive in subscriptions benefits vs. outright purchase...it lists "latest updates." If I take that statement at face value, it seems to say if there are bug fixes, etc., and we have made an outright purchase, we would not receive the updated (fixed) version. Am I being too literal? That's a good point. The meaning of this should be clarified upfront before we buy, at best by Magix staff.

Yes, but the auto-proxy mode only affect sizes from 4097x2161 up, while your source project is 3840x2160. So the auto-proxy mode should not affect it. Did you modify that minimum size for proxy building in the internal preferences before? It does not build a proxy file on my system (with the default setting for proxy building still untouched). Yeah I did modify to 3840x2160, but didn´t know that proxies are also created for nested projects... I was assuming that it only applied for video files.

If I disable the proxy option for the main project, save it and manually delete the proxies for the created nested project from the windows folder, there is no black background, but this is not manageable.

When the option for proxies is enabled only in the main project vegas creates automatically proxies for the nested project file, therefore there is no chance to work with proxies.

Maybe I found it, I work with proxies. When I start a new project without proxies, it works, once proxies are created the background is black. Could you please confirm?

1. Sub Project title Title has alpha channel 2. If I add a footage below the title it works as it should be 3. If I work in the main project and add my title .veg project into it, the transparency is gone, even if I see the alpha channel

Ok i was afraid someone would say that because i did render my logo but then when i copy/pasted it in another project I made, the logo was spinning, but it lost its transparency, then I used chroma keyer and dragged it into the logo and placed that little drop to make it transparent and it kind of worked but not really. It became transparent but it had small trails of black around it while it would spin 😕 If you had a transparent background prior to render, then you will still have a transparent background. What render Template did you us and did you activate it back on the Timeline?I have other tips to offer, however let's confirm you've retained your transparency or ALPHA channel component. Leave the Chroma Keying alone. So far, I don't believe all is lost. Hi Grazie I have the issue that the nested title project is not transparent in the main project. What went wrong? Optical Flow Trouble?
Have the latest studio driver, issue still exists, 4k in 8-bit and 32-bit float. Nvidia 1070 Max-Q. Sorry guys, but I´m slowly giving up on vegas pro 17....nothing fixed since October 2019.

A reason of why VP17 not load HitFilm Movie Essentials Pack
I believe this is not a technical Issue, it is more political or linked to financial liabilities and we do not know the contractual situation when Hitfilm express was offered in past. What is definitely sure is that you can no longer trust such offers in future when you want to upgrade.

A reason of why VP17 not load HitFilm Movie Essentials Pack
Vegas Pro 17 changed their identitier from "sonycreativesoftware" to "vegascreativesoftware", so many old version third-party FXs can't be loaded. Here is the repaired files of HitFilm Movie Essentials Pack, place them to "C:\Program Files\Common Files\OFX\Plugins\HitFilmMovieEssentialsPack.ofx.bundle\Contents\Win64" and replace orignal file. I just have the trial of HitFilm Movie Essentials Pack. Maybe someone who has the license can test it. Now I see the FX Plugins but when I use them my screen is black. For example letterbox. Is this an issue with the licence. My license is active.

@Damian Here, the extension works fine. The slow motion effect has improved, but rendering to see the end result now takes an eternity.

An extension has been added to automatically adjust the length of an event after applying a playback rate change with the Slow Motion OFX plug-in How does it work? Can someone explain? @Damian This means that you no longer have to manually set the new duration of the event to which the slow motion effect was applied. Example: Let's say you set the playback rate to 0.50 in the slowmotion effect in a 2-second event. In the past you would have to manually set the event duration to 4 seconds on the timeline. Now just use the extension this will be done automatically. It doesn´t work, maybe a bug in the german language pack.... Could someone test it, please?

VMS 15 - White screen in preview - Build 116
With my new Aero 15x, 1070 Max-Q / Intel UHD 630 the preview screen is white. I have the latest official drivers. Does anyone have an idea? BR Damian Issue solved, solution: right click on Desktop icon, execute with Nvidia gpu. The setting in the menu of vms for the allocation of the gpu is not recognized. This should be fixed or well documented in the help file.
