@Thomas-Monks Nope I don't believe so, people suggest changing some settings like putting Dynamic ram to 0 & turning on or off Legacy HEVC/AVC in the File IO settings to make Vegas play smoother but there's no max utilize type button,. My system often only uses a fraction of what is available, different systems work better than others, that's why you need to share your PC specs.

@Thomas-Monks Ok I flipped everything using Pan/Crop right click, rendered it 8 times, it got stuck 7 times & had to be closed with Taskmanager after cancelling render 👍 On the last go I tried Building dynamic ram, it got stuck at 68%, I'd try rendering each flipped track separately, Vegas doesn't seem to like doing these 🤷♂️

@Thomas-Monks Hi, just thought I'd share - I created this, I was changing things & adding more events then rendering each change, I rendered it about 12 times, 3 times it got stuck rendering & I had to Cancel render which then resulted in Vegas becoming unresponsive, but it rendered ok when i tried it again after relaunching Vegas, , (ignore the crap chromakey, I paid no attention to detail) I'll keep trying to see if i can work out what makes it not want to render 🤷♂️

@Thomas-Monks Ooops I've had mine set to Absolute Frames for a while & wasn't thinking, I've edited my comment, doh! 🤣🤣🤦♂️ I tried recreating your project with a few green screen events with chromakey but it rendered too fast for me to see any lag, tat's why i was asking about the reverse effect you've added, Out of those 2 options a) Chromakey would be the biggest drain, but it shouldn't run into hrs like you're having, you need to share your full pc specs tho, so can you click your icon at the top of this page - My Profile & fill in your Signature with the full name of your CPU, GPU & amount of RAM, also inc the Windows & Vegas version, this will then show at the bottom of your comments,

@Thomas-Monks Hi, What did you do to reverse/flip the clips to make them look in the other direction? How do you know it's failing the render at fr13? Vegas render dialogue only shows the % done, doesn't it? & if your pc is struggling with this, consider rendering out your project in small parts, the events with chromakey could be rendered with ProRes that has an alpha included, then when reimported those clips will have a transparent background, I'd use MagicYUV because the Vegas ProRes produces big files but it is built in & you should have it, whereas MagicYUV is a paid for product.

@Jill-OBrien Hi, to help you with your problems more information is required, there's a post at the top of this page https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/important-information-required-to-help-you--110457/ mainly your PC specs, what CP (processor), GPU (Graphics card) & amount of RAM (Memory), which version of Vegas & Windows you have, Also the type of media you're using will make a difference to performance, so in that link there's an App called MediaInfo, download it, it's free & a fast download with no added adverts or any of that rubbish. https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo After downloading, right click on the media file in your Windows folder, open MediaInfo, choose Text from the options at the top, Copy & paste the information in a new comment on here 👍 Like this More is better than too little when giving info, photos, screen captures or videos can be uploaded using the arrow button next to the smiley at the top of a new comment.

Thanks again for reporting this! Cheers,P. ------- Reg BCC Rays - there's no bug - PeterMcAuleySenior Product Manager Hey Gid, Like you, I initially thought this was a bug but in fact it’s not. The issue is that you need to set a pop-up in the filter to return control of the rays to the point picker instead of Mocha. So once you have the filter in that state where the light is not responding to the light source point picker, twirl open the Motion Tracker / Mocha group and change the Apply pop-up from Light Source to None and that should do it for you. BCC Lightning fx messing up image
Hi, can someone also try this pls, when I add BCC Rays Wedge, then add the built in Mocha/Pixel chooser mask the Light Source centre becomes unresponsive , removing the mask & turning Mocha/Pixel chooser off doesn't make it work right, ? It works incorrectly in AE too so it isn't just Vegas. Also BCC Rays Textured, BCC Rays Streaky, BCC Rays Ripply, BCC Rays Ring @Todd-A0 Hi, will do 👍 I've been going through to see if there's others,

Is it possible to make my own visualizer without any plugins?
@MrPanthouse It costs a bit more than that but I was only asking for clarification, the image could be created but I don't know of anything in Vegas that make that image react to the beat of a sound track.

@Reyfox Yeah that's why my comment is edited, I noticed the later which build you'd mentioned 👍, but it's doing the same in AE so I don't know if VP build no' has anything to do with this, & it's in Resolve it appears. 🤷♂️ I wonder why it's this fx?, I need to go through them all & see 🥱😂

@Reyfox 🤷♂️🤷♂️😂 yeah there's a few things mentioned . I still see flickering in the gold flecks but I was going on - 'still have an un-smooth pan from the automated slider - fine in camera, video appears to be stammering / un-even in the movement - any ideas for that correction?' & - 'As mentioned, I still have a shake going on with the video - stammering and not smooth. All the other suggestions fixed my original issues, thank you to all - now, how to remove the jittery video?' I did try flicker control to see if I could remove that flicker from the gold flecks but it just seemed to blur the image too much..
