3d waste of time....
I saw Star Trek Into Darkness and Man of Steel in 3D and to tell you the truth I really didn't notice that they were 3D. I like animation in 3D a lot better.

GeForce 320.49 Driver
For me SLI is slightly faster that non SLI. I updated my original post with the info. I haven't looked at timings for anything other than the benchmark project.

Annoying guy with dead on SOPA message.
SOPA is about being able to take control of the internet. This stuff always starts the same way. Just a little bit, for what appears to be a just cause. However, there is always the long term plan of shutting people up they don't want to hear from.

Does Vegas v11 support your nVidia card?
I played the benchmark project in V10 & V11 (both 64bit). Region 7 of the test in Vegas 10 Pro gave me full fps of 29.970, while on V11 it was as low as 11 fps and varied until the end where it finally hit 29.970. I run a GeForce 8800GT so no GPU performance gains from it.

Apple II that I bought in 1977. Paper Tiger Printer, 2 floppy drives and a black & white TV monitor. I had VisiCalc which was the precursor to Excel and dBase for mailing lists, etc.

For SONY: transfer license/SN to someone else
You go to "My Account>My Support" and then click on "ask a question". Under "Category" you click on "Activation" and a drop down list will appear. Select "License Transfers". Fill in the other values as requested. I have used it three times and it has worked every time. I have never needed to speak to anyone.

Can I sell my Sony Vegas Pro 8 licence?
Yep. There is. You go to My Support and then click on "ask a question". Under Category you click on the first selection which is "Activation". When you do that the box will chnage color and you click on the down arrow and select "License Transfers". I have used it three times and it has worked every time.

yes, you can sell it. You can use the Sony website to transfer the license. You provide the details of who you are going to transfer it to and that's it. They get a new license.

OT: Vimeo - No commercial use allowed
I really don't understand the confusion about Vimeo. I think they have made it quite clear what you can do. You can upload a commercial you created as an independent production company. As long as you created it and have permission to show it. You cannot host the video for your client on their website via embedding. That is very clear. The commercial couldn't have been just your idea. You had to have had significant involvement. Like your company produced it or you are the actor or you filmed it. You can upload your demo reel, but you couldn't have a talent agency use the demo reel from the Vimeo servers. You can film the cat playing if you are doing so to show example video from a camera. But just a bunch of video of you talking about your favorite bars in Rome in front of a webcam is not cool unless it is accompanied by some great visuals of bars in Rome.

Rendering says 100% but it has not stopped!
I have had the problem were it states 100% complete but it continues to count render time as if it is rendering. I let it sit for 3 hours. I canceled it and the video was available.

@LightAds Yes like I described in my last post. When I plug my iPhone in it appears like a USB drive. I can copy the pics/vids from the iPhone into any directory on my PC. As others have mentioned you don't see anything else other than the pictures/video directory. I have Windows 7 Pro and my wife has Vista and this works on both our machines. I will copy everything from time to time as a backup onto another drive, but typically as a work flow I extract only those pictures I want to edit using Lightroom 3 which sees the iPhone and displays the pictures. So either case above works for me.

To get stuff off your phone: My iPhone displays on my PC as iPhone in the tree with a directory of "Internal Storage". I click on that and I then see DCIM. Double click again and I see 800AAAAA. Double click again and I see the pictures and video. I can move copy them to where ever I want. I typically use Lightroom 3 to capture my movies and pictures. To get pictures (jpg) on my iPhone: I created folders for 2009, 2010 and 2011 on my PC and from time to time I update them. I see them on my iPhone with the pictures in them. What I did was on my PC under Pictures I have a folder iPod Photo Cache. I created folders 2011, 2010 and 2009 in that directory. I drop pictures in them and when I sync up I can see the folders I created and the pictures on my iPhone. You can sync the Photos from iTunes DEVICES and the Photos tab. I have a laptop running XP that cannot read anything off my iPhone. It needs additional software to do it, but I have never paid any attention to it because I just plug the phone in to charge it.

When I plug my iPhone 4 in my Windows 7 system the iPhone appears as a drive and I copy my photos and video off the phone with no problems. Just like a USB drive. Same worked on my iPhone 3GS. Works on Vista as well.

@SEBAZ Blah, blah, blah, which is really lame blah, blah, blah Do you really not get it? I read your post and it was cool, but then you just had to throw that "lame" thing in there. I got no email, no link, no nothing but when I went to the purchase upgrade page it says $139.95 and gives me the choice of freebies. also is that price in the cart. That didn't work for me. Once I clicked on the link in the email I received the special price and only then did following the link in the first post also work. I just checked again using IE instead of Firefox and IE showed the full price until I followed the email link then it showed the better price.
