Sony Sound FX vs Digital Juice Sound FX
I have both libraries and while both are great I find the DJ library to be more useful. and searching sounds by keywords in the juicer is a snap. If I had chose between the two again, I most likely would not have bought the Sony library at all. Don't get me wrong, the Sony library is top notch. I just find the DJ library easier to find sounds I need and the quality is great. Jimmy

OT: How was your fouth?
Winrock, How wierd is that. We were camping at Oconee Point on lake Hartwell and took boat cruise to Clemson for the fireworks. I was going to take my boat but some of the people we were camping with wanted us to ride with them on their pontoon. After few hundred boats arrrived, all was well until after the fireworks. Its like race traffic and when we starting to leave the pontoon took on water a massive amount of water coming under the front gate. My wife freaked out. The bad part is you can't see the wakes coming until its floating everything loose in the boat and you have several inches of water rushing past your feet. It was a long silent ride back, nobody said a word. The pontoon was rocked all over the place and it made for a very tense ride. A pontoon is no place to be in with that many boats around. We were not overloaded either. I think next year I will take my boat, you couldn't pay me enough to get on another pontoon after dark. It's what you can't see that will give you the element of surprise. I guess I got one more lake story to tell. Jimmy

OT: Dital Juice products
I use them all the time and very rarely use the juicer. Never ran across one that has not worked in Vegas. Preview is fine for me.You don't have to process transparencies they work right off the disc. I just drag and drop within Vegas and set the clip media properties for the alpha channel to straight or premultiplied. Works like a charm. I have been a DJ buying fool the last couple of months, the deals are hard to pass up. Jimmy

You can do this easily in Vegas as mjroddy (Matthew) suggested. Without downloading anything. Mirage is fairly complex is it not? I think I will give it a whirl myself. Jimmy

I have ETK 10 and its their best yet. As far as the sound fx library, I don't think you will find one of its size and quality for the money. I am pleased with it so far and I never touch the sony library any more. The juicer 3 make for easy auditions. I give it a nine. Jimmy
