Hi @Musicvid I decided to follow his recommendation to render the output source in After Effects at 960x540 resolution and it worked correctly. The final result was the same as that of Premiere. It would be great if Vegas worked similarly to Premiere when resizing the project, as this would prevent a new rendering in After Effects, but as this is not yet possible, I will work that way in Vegas. How does the .png, rendered at 960x540 out of PS, look when you open it in Photo Viewer, and resize it to full screen? Hi @adis-a3097 The result is the same in any viewer.

Hi @Musicvid Its logic makes sense. I make my animations in After Effects and not in Photoshop. But I believe that if the video is rendered in After Effects in the exact resolution as you recommended, it will also work. I will do some tests here and come back to inform the result. For several reasons I still use Windows 7. Perhaps the file did not open on your windows 10 because I used the Grassvalley HQX intermediary codec in the AVI container. This is a Vegas bug. As an alternative to solve your problem momentarily, you can use the Happy Otter Scripts renderer or the Voukoder renderer. They will work perfectly. Happy Otter Scripts is in the Beta version, but it is fully functional. Voukoder is free and also totally functinal with Vegas. It must be recognized that the native nesting system in Premiere and After Effects is better than the native nesting system in Vegas. Premiere and After in addition to the typical nesting of events also have the Make Subsequence feature in which it is possible to create several subsequences of the same nesting and edit each one individually without affecting the others. Vegas native nesting system can improve. An Proof that this, is that the developers of the Vegasaur have created a feature that allows using in Vegas a nesting system as efficient as the nesting system of Premiere and After. However, I realize that many Vegas users are not interested and do not want to learn or invest in this feature. This too makes it difficult to get official developers to take this feature more seriously and invest in it.

bug of VEGAS Pro 17: GIF playback is very sluggish

The native import of .GIF files from Vegas is horrible. Use the HOS Import Assist by @wwaag. Import Assist does a great job importing .GIF files to Vegas.

copy all applied effects to another video track

Simply create a filter pack of the effects and apply in the new track.

@Sirio The latest version of HOS can now import WebM files with alpha channel using AviDub with the lossless codec of your choice (Magic YUV, GrassValley HQX, Lagarith, UT, ProRes 4444), as long as it has alpha channel support. The HOS developer is doing a good job in this area of coding. Watch the video below.

@MikeLV @john_dennis STEP 1 Copy the folder compoundplug and ac3studioplug folder of the Vegas Pro 17 Build 321 located in C:\Program Files\VEGAS\Vegas Pro 17.0\FileIO Plug-Ins. STEP 2 Paste this folder into Vegas Pro 17 Build 387 in the same location C:\Program Files\VEGAS\Vegas Pro 17.0\FileIO Plug-Ins to replace the compoundplug and ac3studioplug folder. I recommend doing a Backup of the original folder, in case you want to revert this change.   This will make ac3 recognized as it used to be.

I understand your problem.  I also go through it.Why don't you create a 1080p Intermediate just for the 4K camera? This way the display in the Preview will be the same as that of cameras 1-3 that are already 1080p. The rendering time for creating an intermediate file is about the same as for creating a proxy file. The advantage is that the intermediate file can be used in the final rendering if the output resolution is the same.

Multicam editing

I believe it is not possible to reduce it, but you can configure the multicamera system to show only the name or number of the cameras or simply not to show any information. To project the multicamera screen on your monitor you must follow the steps below: 1. Connect your monitor to the computer's video card and configure the display of monitors in Windows. 2. Then you will have to define in Vegas which will be the primary (internal) and secondary (external) monitor in Preview Devices Preferences. 3. Then in Tools / Multicam, choose the Show Full Frame in Extenal Monitor option. 4.And finally click on Video Preview on External Editor in the Preview Window to be able to view the active camera on your external monitor.

How to use Deinterlace Option in HOS step by step bellow. In this example i used an file interlaced 1920x1080i 29,970fps. A file interlaced with this frame rate can also be deinterlaced to 59.940 progressive fps (Double Frame Rate). But I preferred to keep the original frame rate 29,970 fps.

Regarding the "Placement" in Vegasaur, can I get that 3 second gap in a file structure that looks like these two screen shots I've attached? I've included a zoomed view showing the 3 second gap and a view not so zoomed in to depict the desired file structure. The way you have described causes tracks to play over each other, which causes me to mute all other tracks to hear the selected one. Thank you in advance for your time. @richard-b Dolby Digital AC3 Pro was taken from Vegas. But Dolby Digital AC3 Studio no. Dolby Digital AC3 Studio 5.1 audio rendered in Vegas Pro 17 is fully compatible with MAGIX's DVD Architect Build 84 and Build 100 and it will not be necessary for Dvd Architect to do a new compression You can also get 5.1 audio in Vegas Pro 17 by rendering audio to PCM format. DVD Architect is also fully compatible with this format and it will not be necessary for Dvd Architect to do a new compression. The only disadvantage of PCM audio is the file size. Hope this helps and get your questions answered. For me it works well. Maybe I am lucky.

[BUG] MVC s3D files not opened correctly in Vegas Pro 17

If Vegas users who need this feature are lucky, maybe someday MAGIX will fix it. In the meantime, try the workarounds below. In the video I used the version of Vegas Pro 14. Maybe it works on versions 15-17. Alternative solution - Drag the video track to right
