VP16 dit Crashes on loading efx files
I can only comment on the last thing i saw before the crash this was just after direct x. I searched the forum and found no refrence either hence leaving it for now. I may be updating my system in the new year to i9 lets hope it may work then as my i7 3770k is getting towards retirement. It doesnt stop me editing as Vegas is not my primary nle

Thanks Nick tried some suggestions it did get past after renaming on of the ofx folder then crashed near completion of loading it appeared to fail during External Monitoring. Thanks for your help but the deeper i got to all suggestions the more complicated things were for just a trial, i will leave 16 for now and usemy vp15 instead

Thanks for your reply Unfortunatly your suggestion did not work, I even removed Hitfilm from my system but it still crashed. I also tried re naming the VSTPlugins to old which was a problem i had when i bought VP15 but that also didnt have any joy

In/out points not saved when saving project
Thanks for your suggestion. I will try as a workaround Edius, Resolve and Premiere all remember the in/out points on save

Thanks Nick I did see that for 1 project but i saved it with VP15 added to filename I will check to see if any fx are on but the pc will also have VP13 on it and the fx would be the same ones

Finally got VP15 311 edit working but it wont open VP13 Projects, i get message that it was created in earlier version. will this be a new feature of Magix Vegas when 16 is released will i be able to open Vp15 projects or will i get the same message. If yes then that sucks @John Lewis Are you sure you didn't just get this?: Vegas Pro projects are always forwards-compatible by design. One problem you might have is if the project contains and FX that is not supported in the later version.

Finally got VP15 311 edit working but it wont open VP13 Projects, i get message that it was created in earlier version. will this be a new feature of Magix Vegas when 16 is released will i be able to open Vp15 projects or will i get the same message. If yes then that sucks

Failed to Initialize GPU
I think the problem is solved. Failing at the initialize gpu was misleading I found a thread here aboute renaming the VST In C:Programme Files,Common i renamed the vstplugins folder to oldvstplugins and Vegas launched ,after loading once i renamed it back removing old and it now works including vst fx I am now bold hopefully they have found that some chemical used in frying chips to stop it bubbling has shown hair on mice to grow again , Its true, now to find that chemical 😊😊

Failed to Initialize GPU
Thanks Nick i should have explained its 1 pc but a caddie system so by 2nd pc i meant 2nd caddie Reason being 1 caddie has 1 version of another nle and the 2nd a newer version that is the only reason and that is the only difference i dont think that is the reason. Vp13 works without problems on both caddies I had this problem initially on my 1st caddie after byuing 15 but after a lot of playing in bios with how system booted up i got it to work and was then able to return bios to its original settings I have been unable to get it to work this time I have tried setting bios to boot up using gpu instead of gtx titan which worked last time but not this time Win 10 on both up to date but at present due to current posible updates to fix the well publicised bug problems. So basically vegas does not launch as it fails onthis last stage of initialsing
