Video Preview window is blank
To All: Blank Video Preview resolved. FINALLY found the culprit; and it was SO obvious... hiding in plain sight! I went to the Options pull down menu & unchecked Mute All Video. That was it! How it got 'checked' is anybody's guess! Thanks to all for the quick response & helpful advice! vkmast: Thank you for the link to the resetting instructions. I completely forgot about this reset!

Eagle Six: Yes I did a full reset (Option/Preferences/Video - restore default). No difference. Eagle Six: Preview window is blank (black). Yes, started a new project, loaded a video file, no video, just audio in Preview window. When I first started VP 16, it did initially display the video - it was a 7-camera project. Then all of the sudden, the video stopped displaying; only the audio was working. Never displayed the video after: re-installing VP16, any other video file or project was a total blank. The video does not display in the trimmer window; the trimmer window in the drop menu is grayed out. OldSmoke: The video track and video bus are not muted. Grazie: If I deselect FX Bypass, Clipboard is selected. Makes no difference; still no video display in preview window.

Yes, I have DVDA & an account at Magix but it only links to the installer file, not the program file for DVDA. So, I'm still looking for the link to the complete program file of the latest build for DVDA 7.

Alternate Upgrade Offer
I need Vegas Pro with DVDA and without the other stuff that I do not need. The price is not significantly less either. So no, this is NOT solved. I, too, would be interested in this sort of bundle.

Nothing to add. Just adding to the headcount of extremely disgruntled users. +1... user since 2004 with VMS & Vegas 5 and every Vegas version since & this will be the FIRST time that I won't be "upgrading".

Anyone using PluralEyes these days?
PluraEyes 1 & 2 was released by Singular Software. Red Giant acquired PluralEyes in 2012 & released versions 3, 3.5, 4. I regularly use PluralEyes v.2, to this day, to sync all of my 7 to 9 camera projects. I own & have used versions 3 & 3.5 and always have gone back to version 2 to sync my multi-cam projects because the later versions just could not completely sync my projects. GoPro hero 4 Silver for theatre shoots?
I've done multi-cam videos of dance concerts/recitals & musical theatre for the past 12 or so years and I found the GoPro camera severely lacking for my purposes due to its inability to perform in low lighting conditions; conditions that you would inevitably come across in live theatre productions. I currently use Sony's CX550V & CX790V camcorders as 'b' cams. My current primary camcorder is the Sony HXR-NX3. You can check out some of my work at vimeo.com/jrpascual Jr. Pascual 49 productions
