Video Card and Gigabyte motherboard issues
Thanks astar. An AMD processor and a Gigabyte board for the AMD chipset is what I have. The processor is an AMD Athlon II x 4 620 The boardis a 78LMT-USB3. The computer is an HP Media Center that I bought in 2008 that I upgraded to 8 gigs of DDR 2 memory and the GTX460 which was the bomb according to some at the time. The et up served me well with few problems thatr were easily corrected. The Nvidia card is a 756 mb with DDR5 memory made by Sparkle.....I think? The 6 gig memory is in two slots. One being a 4 gig stick and the other a two.. It is what the tech had on hand. The board can take much more. 32 gb I believe The processor that was with the ASUS board didn't fit in the Gigabyte so he put in an AMD he had that fit.He did not consult with me before putting all this together. He said I would have more speed and such with this set up. I don't think he ever read any SCS message boards on the ills and kills of rendering in Vegas on different brands and specs of hardware. If i wasn''t a little strapped on funds i'd just go get the right pan for the bacon. "Can you post the "speecy" file or text output on your system the way it is configured?" I did this one time before but as with a lot of this computer stuff I'm out of practice. I'd be happy to get that for you, but I need some coaching, lol. I do appreciate your help on the matter.. Thanks I didn't see that you answered my question and started another thread. Anyway, it is just odd that they show as an adobe reader file within the folders. I'll have to do a better job of keeping every clip of a project in its own folder. As it is most everything is in one library. .

Where can I put these sfk files within the Vegas 14 folder. The computer asks me what app I want to open them with. I've never dealt with them on windows ten. They show as a .MOV.sfk

I am still waiting for answers to my questions. One was attempted and I did discuss the issue with Edward at NewBlue who told me he was having communication problems. Should I dive in the shalow end of the pool here? I was hoping someone from Magix could address my issues.

To be clear. I need to know if my current New Blue Titler 3 will work in the "upgrade" to Vegas Edit 14. I have that and it didn't work in the TRIAL. Magix never got back to me on the issue to explain why it didn't or why it should. Very disappointed in the communication I gave up. I don't want the NEW Blue Express or the Looks. I have Mercalli SAL4.. If I am going to put out any money I really NEED to know if what I already have is going to work in Vegas 14 EDIT. What won't I get that Pro has. Thanks

Titler Pro 4 Out - Vegas 14 Next?
I couldn't use My already installed Titler Pro 3 with my trial of Vegas Pro 14 and to date the only reply I get is that titler Pro express comes with VP14. My question is why didn't it work with the trial and why an I expected to pay for a feature in the new software that I already have. This has been round and round for nearly a month with no reponse, reply or valid explanation. All i seem to get is I can't use the 3rd party software. Does anyone from New Blue or Magix want to take a stab at this so I can decide wether to upgrade or not. I am not into paying for the same product twice.

NewBlue Titler products on VP14
My trial of VP14 is not allowing my NBTP 3 to work at all. What is up with this. I never had to disable anything for any program to work on this computer. Just the kind of thing that will keep me from upgrading and walking into trouble.

I received an extended offer to purchase by October16th, but the price remains the same. Apparently, no one from Magix is reading the comments in this forum. do they really think we are gullible with a longer time to "think it over" tactic.

Why does the splash screen opening VP13 say $199 for the upgrade and the buy site wants 50 bucks more? Come on, Gary, we need a little honesty here. I am already invested to the max with those 3rd party plugins offered. Why should I buy them again? Give me something other than smoke and mirrors for my money. You can select the version there:$199 - Edit$249 - Pro$349 - SuiteWhen the buy site open, Pro is pre-selected Thanks, I realized that when I went looking for the email in the spam folder. Still a bit much. I have TP 3, I have, Mercalli V4Sal, I have BCC 10. For the life of me all I see are a few changes that would have been included in a new build. Smart zoom, wow $200. I'm with old smoke until maybe Magix comes to their senses.

VEGAS Pro 14.0 (Build 161) Released
...and my main worry is that the software itself will have flaws like the roll out has... Many concerns with this roll out here as well. It took quit a bit of time, effort and cash to get my programs running together. Does Magix expect me to throw all that away?

SURVEY: Would you upgrade to VP14 if...
Lets see what comes through the door before a yes or a no. Previous upgrades of a lot of software should have been left outside. Some of it like buying the whole box of widgets at a flea market to get the item you could really use.

Thanks for the great effort, Gary. I'd like to see more education as the software is developed to the new technology that Wolfgang foresees. Its a bear to go to the new thing taking learning steps forward, but then having to take them back to ingest it all.

Output problems after rendering
Well I got the card to work again by trying to roll back the driver. That didn't have any result so I then hit the update button and Windows found one. we'll have to see how it plays with Vegas and BCC 10. I still get Media player stopping and MPC-HC player glitching. Don't know what is causing that. The camera or the cards ??? Renders are without problem or pause.

Output problems after rendering
I updated my Windows system after advice from the Microsoft error page. After updating it now appears I have a problem with my video card. Windows shut it down after reporting a problem. My monitor will not come on at all, but my second display works at a lower resolution. I was running a Nvidia 460 GTX card. Any suggestions for another card to replace it with. The other display adapter is a GeForce 9300 The second display is on the VGA while the main monitor is HDMI. I was thinking of an upgrade for awhile, but don't know what to. Thanks

Vegas Pro 13 and New BCC 10 for OFX
Problem right off the get go for me. After downloading and installing BCC10 Vegas Pro 13 cannot load the library. Big red X and that annoying bad buzzer... Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

4K Template?
Thanks John. I got this 4K camera and was curious to see what might work best. I'll have to play for the best results. Its a bit of a bear on the system just doing the simple stuff.
