Can you set legacy text as default? VP13
I'd love to get 1 on 1 with some of you guys. Your advice on these boards to doing things with Vegas is invaluable. I can only imagine what personal tutoring would be worth.

Vegas 11 Compatibility with Windows 10
Who do you believe? Every tech blog out there has a pro and con to Windows 10 which adds to the confusion to download it or not. We already see there is a 1 gigabyte patch to fix the problems already encountered with the OS. We have for years, in these forums, witnessed the incompatibility of Vegas with just the different configurations of the PC. No wonder there are questions and hesitance. My windows 7 is working fine with all of my programs. If its not broke.....

Yes, I did see that thread. Beautiful work. I'd expect images like those from an expensive Canon with the pricey glass that goes with it. A bit out of my budget.

"I really enjoy my GH4 for video, but honestly, for stills it doesn't cut it." I, see so many mixed reviews about the GH4 as a still camera. Why doesn't it cut it in your view?

Thanks John. My timeline playback isn't as smooth as I'd like with BCC and transitions added. My quadcore system is at its max at 8GB of Ram and there are times when it struggles with the GPU on or off. I get it done but at times it can be taxing.

So would it be a good move to be rid of my Nvidia GTX460 and get the Radeon R9 295X for smoother timeline playback. I see a liquid cooled X2. Is this the one you speak of JR?

Yes their business model has a lot to be desired. I won't be adding anything anytime soon unless the nickel dime mentality changes. $249 for the ultimate upgrade. How much more can there be over TP3 for that kind of money?

OK lets try this.....Error message details C:\Program Files\Sony\Vegas Pro 13.0\Script Menu\Disable Resample.JS(1) : Syntax error. Write 'var identifier : Type' rather than 'Type identifier' to declare a typed variable What is this telling me? Thanks

I copied and entered the disable resample scripts offered but keep getting an error message when trying to apply them to the timeline. Used both the .cs and .js extensions. Puzzled. Never had this problem before.

Upon opening the application there is an update reminder in the upper right hand corner. It is the same installer that you can replace the original or download to another directory.
