Thanks, sounds like a plan. I did go ahead and render a .wav of the track with more bit more at the tail and that worked but at the cost of a generation .

Hey again sorry I'm late getting back guys... Holiday stuff ya know. The eFX plugins all seem to work so I guess I good to go really. I'll try a reset just to see but I can do what I need to do. jetdv the Details message was what I mentioned in my post..."The Plug-in 'Reverb' failed to load. Please make sure the plug-in is properly installed." But as I say the eFX plugins including the "eFX Reverb works so I can what I need to do. A "Reset" will probably do the trick for the old Reverb plugin...but no biggie I guess. Thanks all!

Thanks rraud! VST eFX types work fine. Seems to be any older Vegas audio plugins like a simple Reverb type of thing. The Detail message only says "The Plug-in 'Reverb' failed to load. Please make sure the plug-in is properly installed." haven't tried all but some do work like EQ. Pretty sure they were working a short while back so I'm thinking "Resolve" may have something to do with it.

Well....it "appears" that Sound Forge was the issue. Fr0sty set me on the track by mentioning the Samplitude .dll referenced in my error-log-thingy and that got me thinking about "audio" programs. I deleted SF, which I had installed when I installed Vegas and all "seems" to be working as it should. I'm on the newest BM driver as well. Thanks all for your thoughts and advice. Now I can get down to the real issues... complaining about how Vegas sucks!! Just kidding! I have loved this program for about 20 years!!!😄

The IP4k shows up in the Device Manager with no issues. It appears the BM drivers are the issue, if I uninstall the BM drivers Vegas boots fine (the IP4k card is in it's slot). If they are installed Vegas will not boot. Wondering if the Vegas plugins are the issue I believe there were some Boris Continuum assets that I loaded when I got Vegas which, by the way, was a recent purchase. Is there a way of booting Vegas without the plugins loading?

Well just so ya know...I tried the only other slot available for the IP4k and still no go with Vegas. Works with the BM app, Resolve 18 and an old CS6 version of Adobe Premiere but not Vegas 19 (643). Vegas still tries to boot I get the splash "Clapboard" shot but it then stops. I uninstalled the newest BM driver and I tried the older BM driver v12.2.2 that seemed to stop it working correctly with Resolve 18, the old CS6 Premiere and still the same behavior with Vegas. Since Vegas was installed on this new machine, without the IP4k installed already...I wonder if uninstalling Vegas, with the IP4k already installed, then re-installing Vegas, would make any difference? From what I can tell the card didn't come with any SD card. A paper insert does direct me to a free Davinci download. I got the new driver from the BM (USA site) website and installed it. The BM Video Express program does work. But I can't boot Vegas when the IP4k card is installed in the computer. It starts to boot for about 3 seconds then stops and nothing. The computer is still running but no Vegas

Create Seamless Loop
I create animated scenes to use as projected backgrounds for stage shows.https://animatedprojections.com/complete-list-of-animated-projections/ I stumbled into this business a few years ago when I found out folks weren't painting flats anymore, they were using video-projectors, projecting scenes on cyc curtain a behind the actors...who knew??? I started using my limited animation skills to create scenes for plays like "The Wizard of OZ", "Mary Poppins", "Peter Pan" etc. It took a few shows to realize I need to create "seamless loops" so that the .mp4 clip I create would playback as long as the director needed it to play. The way I do it and it may not work for you is to put the...say a 2 min. animation on the Vegas timeline, split it in the middle, swap the right half to the left and swap the left half to the right,,,what was the end of the clip is now the front and the front is now the end. I nudge the two pieces together and create a dissolve in the middle and then the clips will repeat "seamlessly". Granted there is a dissolve in the middle but for my purposes it works fine. As I say may not work for you and I may have misread what you were doing but there it is.😄
