Pro 8 is a pretty old version. Sony will not sell it to you. Search, and maybe you can find another retailer who still has a copy available. If so, buy it, and you will receive a serial number.

Issues making a DVD, Error Message
[I]All of the audio is the audio created with the mpeg2 file[/I] Wrong. You render the MPEG-2 file without audio. [I]DVDA wouldn't allow me to drop AC3 files in the audio track[/I] Wrong. You do not drop the .AC3 file anywhere. If it is named exactly the same as the MPEG file (except the file extensions), DVDA will automatically pick up the audio file when you drop in the MPEG file.

Wider-than-tall conforms to the human field of sight. Er, that's how we see. And that's why the cell phone view is annoying and mostly ineffective. We're going to be seeing a lot of shaky cell phone video, with MP3-quality audio.

That silence added to the ends of files is part of the MP3 spec. The solution is: Don't render to MP3.

Has anyone ever tried this.
musicvid did not say analog is bad. He said there would be a useless d>a>d conversion. At theoretical best, there would be no improvement. DVD is standard definition. There's no getting around that.

OT: Heartwarming
We have an almost identical situation in the tiny rural town where I live. The teachers reported it, and we respond with donations. No problem... without such fanfare as pictured above, I must add. However, it is real easy to get food in the U.S. Food stamps. This suggests to me that parents are, er, inattentive. My daughter who is 41 and lives elsewhere, tells me that it is common for parents of her generation and younger to be self-absorbed and pretty much ignore their children.

Graphic Artists Use Apple - VP to move over too?
Question - how do Mac users find location sensitive menus without right click? It takes two hands. Simultaneously press the Command key and click. This probably explains why the context menu idea has not been exploited very far. Doubly annoying.
