VEGAS Pro 20 not opening (error code 59)
To be clear: there is no SONY Vegas but MAGIX VEGAS. Error Code 59 sometimes happens to me. The solution is to uninstall VEGAS and VEGAS Deep Learning models, reset your PC and install these programs again.

VEGAS Pro 20 Build 214 General Thread
Got lots of problems with latest build. Lots of crashes caused in most by TP7. Sometimes it happens during playback, secondly while put TP7 media generator to the timeline.

Zróbcie coś, aby mógł być płynny podgląd plików h265 4:2:2 10 bit. w oknie edycji Vegas to dobry program ale do 1080p, 4 k to porażka. Deweloperzy pracują nad nowym silnikiem wideo. Co do takich plików, obecnie jedynym rozwiązaniem jest stworzenie plików proxy. W oknie Project Media > prawy przycisk myszy na wybrany plik i wybierz "Create Video Proxy".

Edit Versus Pro
Hi Can someone help me understand the difference between Edit and Pro please. I have looked at the comparison tables and the core software seems the same the only difference between edit and pro seems to be vegas stream and sound forge or am I missing something here? I do not want to take the subscription route and just need to use this on my local computer. Also I assume that I can jump from Vegas Pro 18 to Vegas Edit and receive the future upgrades, correct? Thanks in advance. John VEGAS Pro edition has VEGAS Stream, SOUND Forge Audio Studio, Boris FX Primatte Studio and an ActionVFX subscription (for 1 month guess, but not sure). VEGAS Edit is VEGAS Pro 20 only. Whether you buy Edit or Pro you get all updates free during VEGAS Pro 20 lifecycle.

I downloaded your 8k media on a slower system and was able to cut and color it without issue. Perhaps you should learn how proxies work. Perhaps developers shoud know how it plays smoothly in Davinci in full res without proxies. It’s sad and painful but you’re right. Using VP for a long time and will use, but really hate bad performance comparing to anothers NLE. When editing documentary or bigger projects with large high resolution videos it hurts. Can do lots with VEGAS, workflow is (in my opinion) great and can do everything fast. Only problem at the moment is performance, Video Preview needs improvement. And must say that will be real game changer. VEGAS is great and love it much more than any other NLE, but still need to be polished on basic functionality.

What is Vegas Post 20 ?
I want to buy new license for Vegas Post 20, I missed the previous Continuum offer.Right now I'm waiting for the next offer before purchasing but up until now Vegas keep offering Vegas Post '20'. What is that? And it has the same worth value as the Vegas post package. Should I buy now or wait for the next offer? This is VEGAS Post 19 and 20 license. You'll receive Post 20 licence when it will be released, somewhere in August.

Unfortunately, VEGAS is only available on Windows OS. You can install Win using Boot Camp and then install VEGAS on it.

To my opinion, Vegas has more than enough functions to customize the UI, customize toolbars, customize windows, customize through burger menu etc. I personally rather like to spend my time with editing than with customizing the Vegas UI or customizing/designing transitions/scripts, etc. Agree. VEGAS has lots of customization options. At this moment, stability, speed and codec support is much more important.
