Restoring Default Keyboard Shortcuts
If I remembered correctly, just go here and erase the keyboard.ini data. The next time as VEGAS starts, it creates automatically a default new one. Thank you .. that solved the problem. However why Vegas Pro make it so difficult to restore the default keyboard shortcuts? They should make it much easier to do by clicking a button inside the program itself.

Which VEGAS Pro version and build? You may need to update your build. And did you follow the instructions exactly? Vegas Pro 19 build 341. I do not want to update to the latest build as I am working on important project. And yes I reset the program correctly.

Should I update from build 341 to build 381?
If you have no problems with 341 you probably won't notice any difference good or bad with 381. If it's an important project just finish it and update- who knows maybe another update will be out by that time. Yes the project is important. I will update after I finish the project then share my expreince if I face problems.

I checked the list of bug fixes and new featurs but I still not sure if I should update now or later after I finish my current project So as a best practice shoudl I wait?

Hello I am having a problem loading some .MOV files (but not all), through enabling Quicktime plug-in I can view some .MOV files but not others.., i've tried some codec packs including installing Apple Quicktime with depreciating features ticked but no luck., is there any codecs I can use to sort this..? Previously all .MOV files would play but now not files I purchased at Shutterstock.., these files now show in Vegas as blue thumbnails with a clapperboard in the middle.., I can not use these in the timeline. I don't want to change the files to MP4 files because I think some detail and clarity in the file is lost through compression., do they have to be compressed..? Thanks in advance, any help is greatly appreciated. I had simialr problem where some QuickTime files open and others did not. But after installing QuickTime player and Avid DNxHD codec I am now able to open all MOV files.

Congratulation Magix! Vegas Pro 19 is a charm!
I did not face stability problems with older versions so I can not tell if v19 is more stable or not. However compared to v18, I love and appreciate the new modern look and dark colors. Keep it up Magix

No, that's not the case: people will expect their files to sync and download with the push of a button and HOWL if they don't. It is a rather naïve assumption that they won't. Magix can cleary state that it does not support syncing .. problem solved. However I do agree that it is not very important feature but rather nice to have.

I can see that being true under the assumption that VEGAS needs to deal with anything related to Google Drive's syncing procedures, for example.However, if a file has been synced (which tends to happen either selectively or automatically via Google Drive) and all VEGAS fetches is the data that's ALREADY in your C Drive for instance? You are correct

VP19 and Logitech MX3: Vertical Scrolls!
Well, stumbled on this one for the Thumb Wheel: Misleadingly it says Zoom In/Out, but it allows for Vertical Scrolls instead, nice. Not complaining. So easy now - just saying . . wink The Zoom In/Out function works correctly in all my applications but not in Vegas so it must be a Vegas problem.

@vkmast If they offer a free trial for the subscription version I will go ahaed. I am not willing to spend $34.99 for a one month trial .

The stock music and footage itself goes for a lot more than that... Are the stock music and footage are made only for Vegas? Meaning are they avaible from other companies by a mean of subscription?

I understand that VEGAS Pro 365 offers few exclusive features (50GB mobile to timeline, Royalty-free stock content and Text to speech) but is that even worth the $239.88 asking price over the $199 for VEGAS Pro 19? ...only you can answer that question..... I am truly not sure if it is worth it that is why I am asking. Can I upgrade from Vegas Pro 19 to VEGAS Pro 365 to try it out, then revert back to Vegas Pro 19 if I change my mind?

I guess the links where hardware was tested also with Vegas didn't matter either...... Sure it helps but it did not answer everything. For example is 32 cores the limit for Vegas? Becouse I notcied that the 64 core TR performed lower than the 18 core i9. Also what aboout the speed of VRAM? And is 32GB is the limit for Vegas?

@RogerS I do not think so and I belive his questions was simple: 1- Processors with more cores will be more efficient? In other words does more cores (over the recomnded 8 cores) has positve effect on performance or it has limitation like in Adobe? 2- Won't RAM speed improve performance too? Meaning do faster RAM has positve effect on performance or more RAM is better than faster RAM? Is it limited to a maximum of 32GB or more will be better? - Are NVIDIA boards still better, or better optimized, than AMD boards? Meaning which one is more optimised with Vegas Pro? And finally, does more GPU VRAM has positve effect on performance or it has limitation?

Yes all QuickTime files have the extension of MOV So clearly we still need QuickTime player to be installed in order for Vegas to be able to read all codecs in QuickTime files.

What's the media format exactly? All media are QuickTime Why Vegas can read some QuickTime files without QuickTime player installed and can't read other QuickTime fills unless QuickTime player is installed?
