VEGAS Pro 20 Build 370 General Thread
The loading of the last project issue has been reported here on the forums few times from the previous update. We have a fix for it, but it was not selected to put into this specific hitfix patch (as we needed to keep the scope of this update limited so we could release it quickly). This should be resolved in the next full update.

Anyway, where did the upload to YouTube go?? The Vimeo and YouTube upload menu options had to be removed. It is unlikely we will be bringing them back anytime soon. They proved to be problematic and the functionality was inconsistent. The upload library was actually causing the hang on startup that many users were seeing. We probably should have added an item regarding this removal to the "known issues" section of the readme document.

💡(Bug?) (Feature Request?) Shortcut to duplicate a track.
I've been going through the code and history...I am not really sure why this was never added to the keymap definition options. This menu option has been in the code forever, but no keybind mapping option was ever setup for it. My guess is that the duplicate function originally had some unusual implementation that made a keymapping problematic, but I do not see any reason we could not add this as a mapping option now. I will see about putting this in for a future update.

⚠️ (BUG?) New track with CTRL + SHIFT + Q
It is quite simple the reason behind it...the right click option places the new track at the point where the right click occurred in the timeline. The keyboard shortcut will place a video track at the top of the timeline or and audio track at the bottom since it has not relevance to the mouse cursor. You're assumption that this is based on a selected track is incorrect...it is based on the location of the mouse click.

This is how VEGAS has worked since the beginning of time. It is unlikely we will change this default behavior. However, we could consider some alternate new track options.

File Organization
I have noticed many complaints about the .sfk files and their "polluting" of the users' hardrives. We don't get too many complains on this forum, but it is a common complaint on Reddit. Gary and I will discuss some reasonable approaches to maybe help with this. As with anything in VEGAS, making changes to the creation, deleting and locating of these .sfk files is not trivial to do without significant side effects.

Forum access issue
I know the system administrators are still looking into this issue. It seems to be a problem between the database and the cloud servers used to run the site. Some other Azure based services appear to be having some issues as well.

@ALO I am not able to reproduce that problem you are seeing. What specifically in the project media context menu is greyed out that you are unable to get to without deselecting and then right clicking again?

VEGAS Capture buggy and not allowing cam + audio to work together
@kinesphere: DMT3 is confusing VidCap and VEGAS Capture. VEGAS Capture is very much able to use USB devices and actually does not support Firewire. I would suggest contacting the VEGAS support team so we can get details from you and see if we can help you (or help us) fix the problems you are having.
