DVD Studio or Pro?
I think I might have owned movie studio many years ago but I've been using Vegas Pro 13 12 eleven... I just didn't know what studio was. Makes sense that it's the starter version like movie studio. I downloaded and set up Pro 5.2. Cheers WSS

Great news from MAGIX!
I just assumed, quite possibly incorrectly, that they were both similar types of video production programs. Catalyst might have done something that Vegas didn't and that's the way Sony was moving? I didn't realize they were so dissimilar. WSS

Is Sony going the evil way?
I use Cakewalk sonar Platinum which is its subscription service now but it doesn't bother me. Not much different than paying for the next version every year. I just hope they don't dump Vegas altogether, unless catalyst is just the next step. WSS

I have no problem giving them 49 bucks for a year. A store card isn't a bad idea. I already have one that I don't ever use and don't particularly want. Has no one ever just disputed the charge with Visa? They've always been cool if someone has tried to hose me before. But beyond that the Clips are good stuff and worth having? Thanks everybody, WSS

Well it's basically a wide variety of video footage I would look for. Not so much the other stuff but 500 bucks seems like a lot of dough for the Digital Juice. Do you get lots more Video content with the professional package? Or is the footage itself the same for both packages? I don't mind spending some money for something with a big variety and easy to use. WSS

yes, I am clicking the green effects chain thing but nothing happens. I have gone to the pull-down menu and selected and added and okay the effects for that track. I can't open the plugin to adjust its parameters. For instance I want to drop out all the one point five through two kilohertz in the graphic equalizer. I can't get the equalizer screen to come up. The nudge seems to work more precisely when the tracks are expanded way out. Thank you. (I have done this before and have no idea why I can't find that screen now...) thank you WSS
