@fr0sty I have the full version of MochaIt was a Black Friday deal together with Continuum about 2 years agoI actually wanted to switch to Vegas Post this year because I don't like the new Hitfilm/Artlist packageBut there is still a gap between Hitfilm and Post like the 3D Foundry camera trackerAnd my old Hitfilm version still works with the Vegas implementationI use HOS to link my audio editor (Steinberg Wavelab) and my photo editor (Corel Paintshop Pro)So I decided to wait a little till Vegas to closes the gap before I switch @Reyfox Thanks for the oldie tip

@Roger Bansemer Well Roger ,thank you for teaching me this. Because I have Hitfilm and Boris Mocha for compositing I never searched in Vegas for sollutions. I seem to forget what beautifull features this program has when you dig a little Ps BeautifuIl location where you live

There will probably be different ways, but I would do it this way. My way is not possible in Vegas pro , (maybe in post but I don't have that ). I still have the old Hitfilm running I would make a compositing shot, take out the tower with mocha separately and place it on a separate track above your regular track And then a text track in between, think of it as 2 sandwiches with your text as salami in between

Pro 20 Serial number problem
Installing things and uninstall things it leaves crap on your HD If Iook on my C ssd partition of 250 gb after a clean install of everything , i have around 115gb left on my hd I do all my rendering and savings on my D and E disc but after a few months my C has like 80GB left ???? But I also do some testing of software so it leaves things , that is why I do a complete format and a clean reinstall every year. I mostly combine it with some buying of upgrades like Black Friday. It keeps my "old"system running smooth and crapless ;-)

Problems with Nvidia driver 526.98
Maybe a tip , you can try this , over here it works ;-) I also tried the new driver and again I got problems with things like PIP It only reacts when you close the effect window and so on .... But if I set the gpu to off , everythings works perfectly , no crashes or probems over here You have to reboot Vegas again before it works

like said above you have to use a external plugin , Boris or NewBlue This is a quick drop of the new blue Cartoonnr plus no adjustments

Time instead of frames?
I woud love to have a time stamp option , maybe a seperate pop-up window (please ????) Especially for a post edit , music creation - sound forge or cubase, .... I am a music creator and I had some issues back in the days , a movie edted by someone else at 24 fps And music recorded by me by cubase standard this is 25 fps When those are put together you get crap. For an editor "frame" is the word , but for a musician it is "time".... at 1 minute 15 seconds I want to hit the bell In Cubase you can load your movie and compose (play piano) on multi tracks with a big time stamp window running on your screen. Vegas has now Post and Soundforge , so this woud be an add on

Persistent lockups of Vegas Pro while shuffling clips
Hi , I also use a FZ2000 and a Panasonic HCX1Both set to 4K and 50 fps. I have an older laptop with 32 gb of ram I am using the proxy fies that are automatically generated by VegasI have the gpu on none in the settings and like Reyfox the head and tail settings Alsothe GB in use to the max 75% I believeI have to say that with Vegas 19 I was getting regular crashes for no particular reason.like you said every minute pressed control S to be sureI do a lot of edit work with green screen , mocha , and keying, and hitfilm compositingI recently formatted my system , did a clean install of everything and installed Vegas 20And after 3 weeks I had 1 crash , and that was after a stabilization with prodad mercalli 5 .Mercalli refused to return to Vegas. (To let you know, I am editing every day for like 3 hours) Maybe it is the compete format that puts everything back in place , maybe it is V20 , I leave that in the middle

@VEGASDerek , @Reyfox I updated the Nvidia drivers to the latest (released today) The result over here is the same , very strange .;-( ?? BTW if I set the GPU acceleration in the preferences to Nvidea the result is the same But the sizing on the preview screen doesn't work anymore

Vegas 20 "Picture in Picture" Keyframe Problem (Bug?)
@VEGASDerek thank you , trying to make Vegas a better program ;-) There are some other (to me) strange things I ran into while editing in Vegas 20 the last days. I will keep posting them.

Notification NVidia driver 526.98 update problem.
A little update , I did the Vegas upgrade yesterday , from 19 to 20 Edit. I also did a complete reset of my laptop and a fresh install of everything Nvidia automaticly installed the latest driver 526.98 Got the same problems , like discribed above. Not responding in the fx window and so on Also the new zoom function of the preview screen was completely unusable the images got the weirdest proportions, I styarted to rollback and tried several Nvidea drivers to get a normal behaviour. I had to rollback to the Nvidia driver of 18 october 2022 "522.30" Everything preforms perfect with this driver over here

@Reyfox Thank you for helping me quickly with my problem. I now know the solution. But still I don't find it logical if I duplicate my subtitle track 1 on track 2 And then make changes to the text on track 2 The text on track 1 also changes It's probably my brain that can't grasp the why ;-)

@Reyfox For photo I also use PSP , for audio I use waveab , I love the way HOS works , just a click and you're in the program you want . It would be amazing if this could be possible for composite shots , programs like Hitfilm or maybe even After Effects.
