I had the same problem exactly a year ago. Magix technical support could not determine the cause of the problem. I found the solution on my own. The problem was related to Microsoft. My Internet service provider, at my request, conducted an investigation and found the cause of the problem. Indeed, the MAGIX loader starts or does not start, depending on which IP address the online installer was launched from. I tried to connect to the Internet using the public DNS of Google 8.8.8.8, Installed Microsoft Adge as the default browser, installed two updates from Microsoft that Just came: KB4576945 and KB4577063, which fixes the problem of connecting to the Internet, but the problem did not go away . I use as default browser the "SlimJet browser for Windows" based on Chromium, but how does it relate to the online installer "vegaspro18suite_dlm_eij3hp.exe "? Thank you for the link. I'll try Edge. By the way, maybe it really depends on where you're from. I don't live in the US or Germany.

The last program that worked flawlessly for me was MAGIX Video Pro X7.Since then, every new release of "Video Pro" or "Vegas" has become more problematic. It's not only MAGIX's fault, nVIDIA can't create a full-featured driver for its latest RTX graphics cards. Microsoft in Windows 10, forcibly replaces a good video driver from nVIDIA to its own, not working correctly with Vegas. Previous 16th version of Vegas I bought but never even installed it after reading the reviews in the forum. Yesterday I finally decided to install Vegas Pro 17 Suite on a clean Windows 10 (1909) system. Surprisingly, there are no crashes or errors yet, except for Boris plugins, which I can't even download. I wrote to Boris support and hope for their help. As I know, before "Vegas" had problems with the processing of 4K 60P video from the cameras "Panasonic GH-5", but now I do not see the problem, this is good news for me.

Vegas Pro 14 Crashes when Stabilizing Clip

Thanks Cornico, I know about it. Can anyone, if it's not too hard, try to apply the "Vegas Stabilize" plugin to the video, the link to which is listed above (105 Mb.)? I'll be very grateful. I'm trying to understand why my videos cause the collapse of Vegas, even after conversion to more common formats.

Cornico Use it only if I don't like the result of the internal one. I can't use bundled "Vegas Stabilize" plugin with my video at all! The applying the "Vegas Stabilize" plugin to any of my video will cause the collapse of Pro Vegas 15. Regardless of the encoder and the format of my video, Vegas Pro 15 is crashing at the time of applying the plugin "Vegas stabilize" to my video. Thank You Cornico! From support of the "proDAD" I got the same answer: "Use version 4" That is why I started this conversation. Mercalli 4 plugin is now paid. I was forced to buy it, but the users that had this plugin in earlier versions of the VP will not be able to use the video stabilization effect in VP15. By the way, You also said that sometimes use bundled "Vegas Stabilizer" However, I hope the owners of such cameras as my is not a lot.

Thank you very much for the replies. Reading and encoding of my videos aren't problem for me. I have installed the updated version of the "Grass Valley Codec Pack" Version 8.5.0.1927. It's free. Only registration is required for download. I can freely edit and render any of my video, via any plugins with the exception of the bundled "Vegas Stabilizer" plugin. VEGAS Pro 15 always crashing in middle of motion analysis..Can anyone confirm the crash of the "VP15", while using the bundled "Vegas Stabilizer" plugin with my video? Magix AVC NV rendering issue
Thank you again Cornico for the video! As I expected, the rendering speed is highly dependent on the quality and format of the original video. Using your rendering settings, and using your video, I got your result. However, just the application to this video "Mercalli" filter doubles the rendering time. Nevertheless, I'm glad you helped me find the true cause of a long process of rendering my video, and I like that my system is OK. 😊 Best regards.

Magix AVC NV rendering issue
Cornico, Thanks for your demo. I am shocked! I did render my video file using your settings, but I got the same damn result: 30 seconds rendered in 15 minutes. I need to understand what the problem is. What are the differences between the two systems? 1. Operating system (If I'm not mistaken, you wrote that you use Windows 10. But I have Windows 7). 2. CPU. (My CPU has no graphics core and can not use technology QSV). Although it should not affect in this case. 3. The format of the original video. It seems Vegas doesn't like the format of my video. Practically my camcorder outputs - RAW 4K format, Packed into AVI container and encoded with the Canopus HQX codec with 1 Gigabit bitrate! Maybe this is the problem. If possible, can You upload somewhere 10-15 seconds of your source video so I can test my system? I would be very grateful.

Magix AVC NV rendering issue
When You ask about 4K video, please specify the model of the camcorder and the format of the original video, its frame rate, its bit rate and its container and the version of your video driver. All the settings for 4K videos, especially for videos with high fps and high bitrate, are still in the testing phase. As an example: the rendering of 35 seconds of 4K 4:2:0 video 59.94 fps,150 megabit, 3 transistions, 2 color filter + Mercalli stabilization, using the NVENC codec with maximum quality, takes 15 minutes.(see my configurations in my signature) P.S. Also check you have installed Microsoft NET Framework 4.6.2

About XAVC-S encoder, it works exactly the same, given the different duration of our video clips.About NVENC1. What a strange idea to use a template 25 fps. for video 60 fps. if you already have a preset for 59.94 fps.? As a result, you will get exactly 25 fps. video. Any reason to upgrade Nvidia card for NVENC?
"VP15" will not allow You to see the difference, although it is present. Maybe later I'll write more detailed , but for now here is an example: my 1-minute video "4K 60p" format w/o using effects, transitions and stabilization encoded in VP15, using XAVCS coder and my 8-core processor (see my profile) 5 min. 54 sec., loading all 8 cores at 100%. When I use the encoder "NVENC" and graphics card "GTX 1080", the encoding time is the same - 5 min 54 sec but the workload of all cores of the CPU drops to 20 %. Again, for comparison: 100$ "TMPGEnc Video Mastering Works 6" (for example old ver. 6.1.5.26 but not latest!) does the same job faster, and with better quality, using ALL AVAILABLE types (GPU, CPU, AVX1, AVX2,QSV but i can't use Intel QSV, cos "Broadwell-E" isn't contain GPU core) of hardware acceleration, in just 40 seconds!!! With a maximum load of CPU and GPU But it have poor editing functions 😨Here's a marketing.😏 But everything changed dramatically as soon as you start using effects, transitions, stabilization. They actively use the hardware acceleration of the graphics card. but on the other hand, all these transitions, effects and faders is a few percent in comparison with the duration of the main video and it's rendering P.S. In short - marketers won again technologists 😠

I've just checked most of the available in "VP15 Suite" of plugins. In my case the memory leak starts when you start rendering video using any plugin from "Sapphire Render". The use of any other plugins are included in the "Vegas Suite Pro 15" does not cause memory leaks.
