Vegas Pro 14 Won't Save As
If your 128gb drive has only 45gb free it is vastly overloaded. Move all your content to the ext drive. Create a "render" folder there too and save to that folder. Help using Visioncolor LUT, am I being really stupid?
mostly otj learning. all i read was the one-page instructions for vegas on the site. you use one of their input filters first, one of their output filters last, and whatever cc you use in between. i used a hitfilm plug with magic bullet looks in between, and color match last in the chain. i was able to to get an m2t clip and a wmv (original m2t lost) to look reasonably the same by tweaking elements and lagarist filters.

Opening older .veg with V13, causing issues with audio
i get scrambled or misplaced audio sometimes on v13. as a test, close and reopen vegas and see if it plays correctly from the tl. seems to help in my case...

Little change on project not being rendered in Vegas Pro 13
You could render just that shot or segment to mxf. When you have it right, import the mxf file (delete the audio track) to a track above… I frequently do this with problem areas. Make sure that your loop points are exact, mute every other video track and all audio tracks, then render to same format, rate… as the project.

Any reason to upgrade?
+1 aboammar, especially #1. Unreadable. I have a large catalogue of vegas projects that I can work with 13. I've tried a couple of new projects in resolve, and it really is good. I found myself reaching out to the help community for things that are a piece of cake in vegas, but once learned… I like the resolve interface, easy to see, easy to read, contemporary. And I like the simplicity of doing things in vegas. 15 will need stability, updated ui, all the plugins working for me to be interested.

vegas pro 14 upgrade price
they lost me too. i'll maybe look at v15, but by then i'll have logged more time on resolve, so it would really have to wow me, the way resolve 12.5.2 does now...
