Agree. It's just strange how some mp3s render fully (even ones that are from the same source folder) You might be right about the clip short length...

I'm using V14 build 211 Below is one of the files causing the problem. If I put the file on a timeline alone then it does render -- so for a fix, I simply re-rendered it within V14. The new file works flawlessly. Attached is the original file.

Vegas Pro Connect gone?
I know I'm late to the game on the Connect app but I just tried it for the first time. Man it's smooth! Not sure it will find a way into my workflow but I'm impressed. so cool.

VEGAS Magazine(s)?
Thanks for posting this. I was confused as well... side note. I wish there was a clear (more obvious) way to access the Magazine from the forum site. There is such great content on the Magazine, it would be a shame for it not to be seen.

Vision Color LUTS
I've used them in the past. They can be a pain because Vegas does not allow a way to quickly apply a LUT so I use MB Looks to apply. Time consuming but they do look nice... nothing you can't achieve thru MB Looks alone though.

I always use Legacy Text tool... Titles and Text has good intentions but doesn't hold up.

MB Looks: Can't copy/paste event attributes
Hmm. Wish I could get PEA to work. I'm running MB 3 w VP 14. If the MB upgrade solve this bug, I'll buy right now :)

Wooo, thank you :) But this is new behaviour right? Yes, it's part of the new trimmer scrubbing in VP14. You can't do that in VP13. Personally I think the mouse angle and sensitivity should be adjusted a little so that it's easier to drag the selection instead of creating a new selection. Agreed 100%... It's too sensitve.

set, very good observation. This does seem to be the problem. The Trimmer was never this sensitve in the past. I hope it's corrected as many times I'm dragging the selection diagonally (Left or Right) down and this resets my selection. Slows down the workflow! I appreciate you investigating.

Agree. The ability to export to PRORES is an amazing update. THANK YOU! Still concerned about the trimmer bug...cannot drag and drop a clip from the trimmer to the timeline.

There seems to be bug in the v201 update inside the Trimmer. Once I highlight a section of video and click to drag it onto the timeline it starts a new selection instead of dragging the highlighted selection. In other words, I can't drag to the timeline from the trimmer... Does that make sense? Anyone experiencing this?

Does seem weird. I imagine it has to do with the Sony > Magix transition but that doesn't mean they should be silent about the hold up. I've heard "give it 3 days" -- so I'm cool until EOD tomorrow (9.23). Hopefully we will hear asap.

Are you satisfied with the new VEGAS PRO 14?
It's only been 3 months since Magix purchased VEGAS. This update was more of a stability / under the hood alignment. I never expected a completely new UI or loads more features. Those things take time. It's only been 3 months. I view this release as a measure of good faith on both parties; the users saying we're onboard and the developer saying we're actively working. They're offering a stable platform that will suffice while they make the major / substantial changes. Again, it's only been 3 months.

I'm digging the hover scrub trimmer mode... It'll take some getting-used-to but I like the possibilities.
