NewBlue Titler products on VP14
I own Vegas Pro 14 which comes with Titler Pro Express but yet...it doesn't! The good news is that I can finally get Titler Pro Express to open in Vegas Pro 14 without crashing! I did this by deleting the OFXBridgeB64.dll file as described in above posts. However, now it is asking for serial number or activation because I have a red x on all of the outputs. I did confirm that I have version 160926 installed. Am I missing something here? Thanks, Erik

Jetdv, the link you gave is precisely the same link that I used as an installer. Exactly the same. It seems there are two things that you should be aware of: 1) My Titler Pro1 was uninstalled by the TitleExpress install in Vegas pro 14. 2) Using the installer link you provided will reinstall Titler Pro 1 but it will ask for a serial number to activate.

NewBlue Titler products on VP14
I am using the OpenFX of TitlerPro1 in Vegas Pro 12. Here are the screen shots. This screenshot shows both the Titler Pro and the new Title Pro Express (which only crashes upon opening) This screenshot shows that it is asking for a serial number to "Activate" the software. Jetdv, can you explain this to me?

NewBlue Titler products on VP14
Could JetDv kindly refresh me where I get the serial number for my TitlerPro that came with Vegas11. Would that be in an email? Something that I get from NewBlue? Sorry just need a point in the right direction please to recover the serial for the install that was deleted by the VegasPro 14 install. Thanks. Erik

Well, when the TP2 installer was running, you could see it deleting files on my computer like there was no tomorrow. After the install, TP1 was no longer installed on my computer and I certainly didn't uninstall it. What pray tell was the TP2 installer deleting if not TP1 files? Can you please provide me with a link to download the TP1 software or explain to me how I can get the software back onto my computer. (EDIT: I was able to download and install TP1 from this link. http://www.newbluefx.com/downloads/Windows/NewBlueTitlerProForWindowsSetup10-131217.exe However, it now asks for a serial number. I don't have this. What is the next step please?) Also, in the event that TP2 becomes a working software, can it handle TP1 work done in previous projects? Meaning, open them, make adjustments and resave? (EDIT: After the install of TP1 as noted above, TP2 is still installed but still crashes on opening.) Thanks.

NewBlue Titler products on VP14
This is not what I am experiencing. I just opened a project in Vegas 12 that I created back in 2012. There is a graphic that was created used TitlerPro1. I can still see the text fly in a single letter at a time but when I click on the effect icon on the timeline event there is no NewBlue Titler Pro activated for the event. The only thing there is a glint effect that was added. It's weird because you can see the text and the flyin of the graphic but it is as if it was done by magic as there is no connection to any titler. Additonally. When I look at what options I do have in Vegas12 for NewBlue Titlers, there is only an option for NewBlue Titler Pro2 and nothing else. When you try to open this option, you see a new splash screen for Titler Express and then the app hangs and will not open. My old titler is gone! It has been replaced by NewBlue Titler Pro 2. Can my old NewBlue Titler Pro 1 be reinstalled on this computer now? Will it work or conflict with Titler Pro 2?

Will Jetdv please explain something to me. I have used the bundled VP11 NewBlueTitler1 for years now off and on and still used it as recently as a month ago. I buy VegasPro14 and it installs (a nonworking) TitlerExpress that DELETES my Titler1 that I still use in various ongoing projects. What am I supposed to do if I want go back and make a tweak to one of those projects!!?? Why did you delete software that belongs to us and not even bother telling us during the installtion. Warning: By installing this TitlerExpress software you will delete any existing NewBlueTitler on your computer. Or something like that. Please tell me what I am missing here. Erik

CALM Act Audio Levels
There is too much to just make it simple but since you asked.... If you are running V13, do a loudness log output of your timeline. Scroll all the way to the bottom and make sure that your total is at least -23.

No Quicktime Uncompressed Template in V12 or V13??

Vegas 13 toggle between new edit modes?
Here are some others that I use all the time for what its worth: alt-drag on any clip - slip event ctl-alt on any two clips touching and increase/decrease both clips simultaneously ctl-shift up arrow or down arrow - Increase or decrease size of tracks ctl-up arrow or down arrow - zoom in all the way to the cursor position or all the way back out ctl-tab (toggle) up or down arrow - between moving up/down tracks or zooming in/out on timeline shift up arrow or down arrow - increase/decrease size of audio waveforms ctl-home or end - move to very beginning or very end of timeline I'm sure there many others. Grazie, Sorry but if you hit CTL-Home to activate time stretch you still have to drag the clip in one direction or the other. That is less efficient than holding ctl and dragging. Nothing to experiment with that I can see. Sorry. Erik

Maybe you can clear things up for me but I don't understand why we need these "new tools" at all. Why map CTL+HOME for time compress when simply holding down the CTL button and dragging any clip has the same effect? All of these commands already exist and the "new features" make no sense as they are slower than what we already have had for years in Vegas in my opinion. Erik

you are right about it being clunky. As far as I can tell Sony has made zero improvements for XDCAM discs since Vegas8! Lots of little things that could be done but for some weird reason Sony hasn't shown any interest in improving the workflow for their own product! Erik

How did you get out of Vegas after you imported the clips? Was it a crash? Was it a normal exit? It it was a crash your XDCAM discs will be missing. Tip. If you know that you have successfully imported you don't have to reimport to get the clips again. What you have to do is navigate to the folder where the clips were imported on your hard drive "as if" you were going to reimport. Do not click on import but close the dialogue box. Then go to the "refresh" circular arrow button in XDCAM explorer and it will reload the clips from the point you navigated to. All of your clips will be there without having to reimport. You will have to repeat this process for each unique clip folder location. Erik

VP13 - Time To Make A Decision
I just want to say that a single new feature makes the upgrade completely worth it for me. Loudness meters!! Very happy to have this option...especially with the logging option. Erik

Feedback to Sony on Vegas Pro 13
Audio loudness meters alone is enough for me. Very happy with the logging feature. Wish we could just get some dang time code in the audio files!!!!! How can you say Pro with no TC in audio??

NewBlue Titler Pro 3 - Awesome!
I am not inclined to start a support ticket with NewBlue as I have a pretty known system and don't want to go through a lot of uninstalls and driver games for something that should work right the first time. I'm curious though if there is anyone out there who wants to talk about their usage of TitlerPro3? Anyone want to say how really happy they are with the performance? Erik

NewBlue Titler Pro 3 - Awesome!
Found the demo link and installed it so I will try it out for awhile. Shows up in Vegas FX options as NewBlue Titler Pro 2.0? Then when I add it to an empty event it says 3.0....weird. Then when I tried to take at look at their "Prime Time" presets it said my hardware doesn't meet minimum requirements. Running Nvidia Quadr0 4000 331.82 driver. Crashed it bigtime! I then checked what the "system requirements" posted on their website are and found this. *nVidia GeForce or Quadro card that supports CUDA with driver 285.62 or newer' Looks like I am qualified but it doesn't work. Looking like this is all a little too good to be true. Erik
