@Rednroll Since that thread was closed, I am responding to you here. You use the example of only 3 Vegas users who can actively develope Reaper to refute my point (Vegas Team is short on manpower). But you ignore that Vegas Pro is much harder to develop and maintain than Reaper. Sonic Foundry created Vegas, and Vegas was considered a major innovation in audio and video at the time. But in terms of codebase level, it was actually an incomplete product. It uses a lot of old programming techniques and is way behind the times. Later, Sony bought it and didn't rewrite it in time using newer programming techniques. This leads to a growing number of hidden dangers. Finally in 2014. Sony had to rewrite Vegas because its codebase was far behind other Nles of its time. But Vegas is a full-featured pro NLE, so rewriting its all features was not an easy task. Sony Creative Software created Catalyst Edit after a two-year rewrite. However, as we have seen, Catalyst Edit has only a fraction of the capabilities of Vegas Pro, and it will take more time and resources from Sony to fully make Catalyst catch up Vegas. Yes, Sony finally gave up, and Sony Creative Software also went bankrupt because of this. Therefore, the development and maintenance of Vegas Pro is actually more difficult than many similar softwares.

Why can't select multiple audio events & change their properties?
Why Vegas developers have been ignoring such a basic feature for such a long time? Hey @noisywan , the current reality is that VegasCreativeSoftware has only 6 engineers who can actually program, unlike Adobe, Apple, or BlackMagic Design, which have dozens or even hundreds of engineers. So the right thing to do is to seek the support of users who have the same needs. Once you have more users supporting you, the higher the priority of the request will be. I used to prove the importance of Bezier keyframe requests by constantly searching for dozens of users with the same requirements. Finally, after nearly a year of delay and preparation, the developer implemented it in Vegas 19 build 636. So it's a long way to go, because the team is so short of manpower.

Watermark on Transitions and Video FX options.

Your license for VEGAS Pro or Post 20 entitles you to license a small portion of our plugins. Upon installation, you are given the option to either “show all plugins” or “show licensed plugins”. Choose “show all plugins” to see everything Continuum has to offer, but be aware all unlicensed plugins will feature a watermark. I also wish that Vegas would allow users to specify different decoders for video stream and audio stream of a video file. for example, specify "so4compoundplug.dll" for its video stream but "compoundplug.dll" for its audio stream. This can make full use of the advantages of Vegas' existing decoder.

Suggestions For Ways VEGAS Can Improve
I"m not sure what you call this, but being able to see the FX and composite option without adding the effect. being able to mouse over the option is so much faster then adding and playing back. (the mouse pointer doesn't show) Since most of Vegas's codebase is outdate codes from the Sonic Foundry era, performance is poor. So trying to implement such a feature is likely to have a more negative impact on Vegas's existing performance.

@VEGASDerek The current audio track's right-click menu lacks "Create New Video Track", video track's right-click menu lacks "Create New Audio Track". Many users would like this to be improved to bring greater flexibility and freedom for Vegas.

Red Giant Universe Finally Optimized for Vegas 20
https://support.maxon.net/hc/en-us/articles/7388129088284/ Added support for VEGAS Pro 20 They are just adding a small feature to the installation package to check if Vegas 20 has been installed, to determine whether to extract Universe ofx files. It's not optimized for Vegas in other ways.

Movie Studio or Pro X extras for Vegas Pro?
Are there good packages of note that currently come with Movie Studio to use for Vegas Pro? No. Or any other software of deal available to add to the VP arsenal? No. Magix Video Pro X14 includes a Newblue TotalFX Magix Edition. But it is only compatible with VPX or Magix Movie Studio. Pro X has proDAD Mercalli V6 Plug-Ins for MAGIX--is that any good and can it be used for Vegas? No, It can't support Vegas. I got the New Blue stuff which came with Movie Studio in prior years which I use for VP. I guess it was just a fluke. When they sold Newblue they accidentally sold the full version of TotalFX that is also compatible with Vegas, Resolve, etc. They may already be regretting it.

By the way, this wasn't the theme of this thread, reminder: "Smooth Start/Stop in Pan/Crop" and not animation along a path. @3POINT That's true. So I just simply voted for Tech Dive and didn't expect there wiill be so many extra comments later. Maybe it's a good idea to stop commenting now. The samples you showed are made with Adobe After Effects and not with Adobe Premiere. Here is a demo of PR in point 6 "Spatial Interpolation".

@3POINT Yep I know. PTT can only animate text and character. That's why they want to draw animation path directly in the preview window. They don't only want to animate text & character but also more events.
