Thanks, Keith well, if you want to transfer back to the DA-88 or SY-88 reverse the clock settings for the DA-88 since you are going the other way now. Just a thought. I'll look into recording multiple tracks at one time and see what happens. As far as optimizing your system you should change your virtual memory settings. I believe there is a great article somewhere buried in the articles of prorec.com about optimizing your swap file. Very very crucial when it comes to performance of your PC. That and try and deselect everything that is starting up in your system start-up. You can find that by typinf msconfig in your run menu and choosing the Startup Tab, if you deselct everything you will notice a faster boot up time and less applications hogging your memory on startup! Keith >>>> >>>> Ok, I know I'm far behind in this but I'd like to post this so anyone trying to sync up the DA-88 with the MOTU 2408 to Vegas can do it. You need a Word Clock cable from the DA-88 out to the MOTU in. This is the key. Inside the MOTU Console set it to Word Clock and put the DA-88 to Internal. I believe it works with and without the Simultaneous Record and Play selected. Now all that needs to be done is to set the recording device and the amount of channels needed! I have tested this and it does indeed work, but NOT WITHOUT A WORD CLOCK CABLE!!! Enjoy!! Gary(Sweetwater PC Support Tech!) 1
