VEGAS Pro 15.0 — Unable to Install
If it says an earlier version was installed, that means that same failed HDD in still in your system and is not dead. Remove that bad HDD from your computer. Your new HDD would require a fresh install of your OS, and would allow you to install anything on it. There is no way you would receive that notification with a fresh install of your OS. Activation comes later.

What version of windows are you using? VP18 requires Windows 10.

Hello.....nothing in spam folder, but I installed the non trial version over the trial version and all is okay. I found my original receipt of 2.0.0 from a couple of years ago and clicked on a box that took me to a page on your website that listed the newest version. I downloaded from there. Thank you.

Will there be another v17 update, do you think?
I had no problem downloading the update from within Vegas, but when it's over and you go to install it, it tells you it can't install with Vegas Pro open!....when you close Vegas Pro, the install screen disappears and it does not install ! Thanks for the direct link Nick.........

Therefore if you use such a FX switch of the GPU acceleration in Options/Preferences/Video j-v was saying that if you use such an FX, switch off the GPU acceleration in Options/Preferences/Video.

New to Vegas 17 Pro. Why can't I write 22 min movie to reg DVD at 1920
I have used many different players in the past when DVD was a common request. No clients ever had an issue, nor have I. BD players however, sometimes needed a firmware upgrade.

You didn't mention that you were able to view the DVD in a standalone player? I stopped using Cyberlink to test DVD's, it had strange limitations, e.g. not wanting to read the DVD's I made without doing some kind of activation thing, that only worked for a few times.

I would like to be able to render out to mainly Mpeg2 or Mp4 files. The rendered files would be 60i as I would be using slow motion on certain clips I record. And I would like to find out if the quality of both video & audio would be an issue. thanks, robert

I forgot to mention, I won't be recording to tape. I will only be using the compact flash memory recorder that attaches to the camcorder directly. It will record Mt2 files. So will the video be perfect, and will the audio be perfect also ?
