Vegas Pro 15 - Mercalli Stabilizer v4 missing?
Vegas Pro 15 - Mercalli Stabilizer v4 missing? You have to differentiate between a missing Mercalli and an not activated Mercalli. If it is missing, the OFX bundle can not be found in the Vp15 OFX search path. If it is not activated the SN seem to be not being accepted for the use in Vp15 if it is still running in Vp14. I too contacted ProDad and Magix. Oddly, when I tried to activate ProDad Mercalli 4 on VP15 it also killed my activation on VP14 which is now watermarked and returning the "activation code invalid" error.

BorisFX Continuum 3D Objects Unit confusion (?)
@skyml Can you please confirm for me whether or not "BCC Title Studio" is active? Getting access to that which is normally part of BCC 3D objects unit would move me to upgrade. Nothing is clear regarding this on the sales pages. Thank you, Marc Marc, yes the BCC titler Studio is active.

VEGAS Pro 15 build 177 General Discussion
Regaurding ProDAD Mercalli v4 and Vegas Pro 15.... for those of us who bought and use Vegas Pro 14 and had Mercalli v4. Mathis has said it should work but he didn't give a clear procedure for us to follow. I have written ProDAD directly and am waiting their response. If anyone finds the procedure that allows us to move ProDAD Mercalli v4 from Vegas Pro 14 to 15 and successfully activate the license we have please post it. Magix did a good job at giving us an upgrade to the look and GUI function for us but they missed the mark on some other serious function that we've all been using and talking about. It's sad that their best marketing treats are instant freeze frame (an +15 year old feature that was common and then lost when Ulead Media Studio died and Vegas was still an infant), a LUT OFX plugin that has been available and free for some time now, and Crop/PIP options that we kind of already had.

349$ for an upgrade from 14suite to 15suite?
Magix missed something big. Many of us who actually like and use NewBlue FX Titler Pro and had mega problems with the included version upgraded to version 5 long ago. Now they dangle Boris FX Sapphire Render Unit in the Suite version. But at $359 (USD - until September 11), those of us who own the VP14 Suite and Titler Pro 5 are only getting the Vegas Pro 15 (standard) upgrade with Sapphire Render Unit for an extra $100! The Sapphire Render Unit is not that attractive to spend $349 (USD) for an upgrade of this type and so soon after the move to Magix from Sony. On a whole, I'm disappointed in some things. For example, the "new" freeze frame option is nothing new and it was standard in Ulead Media Studio Pro (as were many more features) over 15 years ago and I've been asking for that add-in to Vegas ever since Corel bought Ulead and killed Media Studio Pro. The Interface improvements might be cool and useful to many, the crop feature is just a change in the previous function of something we all already had, the abscense of new codec support and redering options is still lacking, The LUT OFX plug in has been available and free to many from VisionColor for some time now and works great in VP14. And I'm seeing that we all are still missing dolby digital pro AC3? I don't do Bluray or DVD muh anymore but come on Magix, didn't you promise to put that back in version 14?

VEGAS Pro 15 build 177 General Discussion
This is a bit alarming, an upgrade to the Vegas Pro 15 suite is $350 until September 11? And all were getting is the new interface, a feature to make grabbing a still for a freeze frame which is a feature that was common back in the 90s with Ulead MediaStudio pro, a LUT plug-in and titler pro 5 from NewBlueFX? I already have tittler pro 5 with my Vegas pro 14 suite and I already have a LUT OFX plug-in for VP14. Oh, and we get PIP? Please tells me there's more for an Upgrade price of $350!

NewBlue Titler products on VP14
I remember many years ago...maybe Vegas 10 or 11, when NewBlue was first introduced with Vegas. And back then it never worked. So I never used NewBlue. Now with VP 14, I noticed that it comes with Vegas? I have not accurately loaded it into my computer yet...or at least I have it downloaded but not activated. After reading all the problems everyone else is having with this NewBlue product...I'm thinking maybe yet again, I have to walk away from using it with Vegas. Any thoughts or any success stories using NewBlue Titler Express with Vegas? Please let me know. It's like the holy grail Ive been wanting a better titler to work with directly in Vegas...oh well may not see it yet. Please comment. I've been using NewBlue FX Titler Pro since version 1. Yes, here and there I had some hiccups with it but NewBlueFX always sorted it out. The problem I had moving to VP14 was that the included TitlerPro conflicted with my newer (full) version. Am very happy with version 5 and use it on every video I do. NBFX is very good at resolving issues with all their products.

VEGAS Pro 14 Update 4 (build 211)
VP14 build 211 errors. First off, there needs to be a in app way of upgrading this program... searching on a forum is pretty pathetic. So, this build of VS14 (211) does not remember my saved windows layout when it loads. Selecting the layout from the view menu works but when I close the program and reopen it it doesn't open all the modules in my layout and I have to go back to the view - windows layout - layout to get my layout correct. Pain in the ass! The other thing that is happening more and more now with this same build is that the preview screen goes blank and I have to close the program and restart it to get it to work again. Ideas anyone?

NewBlue Titler products on VP14
Got this email from NewBlue FX and tried it... still testing but seems to be working and is better then what I had. Contact Caleb over at NBFX for the link. Caleb (NewBlueFX) <support@newbluefx.zendesk.com> "...further assistance in getting Titler Pro 4 running correctly in Vegas Pro 14. Please try these steps: 1. Reboot your system 2. Go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\OFX\Plugins\NewBlueFX and make sure the folder TitlerPro2.ofx.bundle is removed 3. Install this version of TItler Pro 4 Ultimate: Beta ver. 160928-529"

NewBlue Titler products on VP14
So, it's still broke and no solution yet. Just sent this followup to my unique list of NewBlue FX errors to both NBFX and Magix. Will report back if I get a solution: ****************************************************************************************************************************** I owned Vegas Pro 12 and NewBlue FX Titler Pro 4 Ultimate, NewBlue FX Stabilizer and NewBlue FX Colorfast (both 1 and 2). All these products worked perfect together! I upgraded to Vegas Pro 14 Suite and reinstalled my existing NewBlue FX products. Titler Pro only showed as 3 and not 4. The Titler program did not function as designed and I did not have access to all the libraries and effects. I also could not scrub the timeline or view titles in the preview window as I could before. I am currently getting 2 random error messages and a frequent crash associated with a “vcrruntime.dll” file when I try to open projects created in Vegas Pro 14 (see attached file). I have uninstalled TitlerPro 4 and reinstalled the NewBlue FX suite plug in provided with VP14 and I still get crappy results with the Magix supplied NBFX plug in. I also lost all the function and advantages of Titler Pro 4 and that is unacceptable. I installed my NewBlue FX Colorfast 2. It works fine… oddly, it also installed Colorfast 1 and I didn’t ask for that. I installed NewBlue FX Stabilizer (standalone version). It appeared to install correctly yet it doesn’t show in VP14 anywhere. In VP12 it used to show as “Stabilizer” which is not the same as Vegas “Stabilize.” So, NBFX Stabilizer is not installed or available. Note that I have uninstalled VP12 and have experimented with installing, de-installing and reinstalling all the NB FX programs and VP14 (this included cleaning the registry). I also am running Win 10 Pro and have all the latest drivers installed. My video card is an ATI Radeon HD6970 w/2GB GDDR5. I am running on an Intel i7 2600K LGA1155 and 16GB RAM. NewBlue FX are awesome plugins when these work. They were stable under Vegas Pro 12 and 13. I need stability and function back with Vegas Pro 14.
