I knew Vegas since Sonic Foundry days, around the year 2000, because I was using Sound Forge (discovered through a childhood friend DJ) to manipulate some sounds and music. The quality of Sound Forge prompted me to try the video solution from the same publisher, Vegas, to edit personal videos, and others. And I enjoyed it. And that's still the case today.
