Amazing. Huge thanks to you Roger for the excellent tutorial on how to do this with Runway. I would think Magix will be paying attention to stuff like this. I notice that the Free version is also limited to 720p.

Render does not respect the preview of the video - Track Motion(v18.0)
Your project size is 1080 x 1920 .. You should render at the same 1080 x 1920 .. are you?

@xberk Testing things in a small scale is often a good idea before testing in a big scale. And to your question, no third party plugins used. I like to get as far as I can without additional software. @John-Ivar Excellent. .. You've certainly mastered much of Vegas .. Curious. Music? Original or canned?

Thank you for the compliments @xberk, @Wiew, @Dexcon, @Vincent-Brice @xberk The truck at 44 seconds is actually linked to a different video I did for the same research institute. The "self charging" truck. It's actually really cool, as the tiny truck is fully autonomous and charges itself as it goes, by driving across the little road with the magnetically charged coils. This experiment is linked to wider research on charging electric vehicles while driving. @John-Ivar I see now. It's a model of the truck scaling down the charging technology. Looked like a real truck to me except I didn't expect a research institute to need tractor trailer trucks. Did you use any 3rd party effects?

Motion Tracking jitters
I always learn stuff in the forum .. @Roger Bansemer .. I tracked your cow with a better result. Used "Location" for the MODE instead of "Perspective" .. my GPU was OFF .. i made the area a little bigger .. I also tried it with GPU ON. Worked just as well. GPU is a GeForce RTX3080.

Hi Roger, I tried it on your (screen recorded) clip from the first frame and just tracked forward. I made the mask a little larger too. Yes, perfect... that's how it's suppose to be. Can't figure out what is going on with mine. I've done it at least a dozen times and get poor results. I know the area I've selected is not too small. After fooling around with this, I conclude that the title bouncing around is right. You are tracking something that is bouncing so the title is bouncing ... I just tried something else .. I used "location" for the Mode instead of "Perspective" . This helped considerably.

@Ronald-Maxwell .. I don't own VP20 yet. Are you saying VP19 displays timeline envelopes and envelope points differently than VP20 ? .. Namely that they are smaller and therefore harder to work with? Can you post a screen shot?

Event Pan/Crop bug in most recent build of Vegas
Same here. I'm running VP19 Build 643. I can't reproduce the problem. I'd turn off GPU acceleration and see what happens.

Marker naming

Laptop recommendations for portable video editing
Many people overlook the most important thing for editing on a laptop -- get the biggest, most accurate screen you can afford. Advice goes double if you're over fifty. How right you are @Musicvid .. screen size is a biggie for me. What sort of travel? Airplanes and hotels?

trimming a video mute my audio
The OP seems to be describing "muting" an event vs "muting" a track. Can you "Mute" an event? @xberk Yes you can @Gid Thanks. Before I posted my question, I looked in the Vegas Help under "mute" and couldn't find a thing to "mute" a single event. Generally I can find things in Vegas help -- but if not, then here in the Forum. I'm still learning Vegas after 15 years. Again, thanks! I can't recall EVER muting just a single event. But it seems just about nothing else will mute a single event, save this "switch". Mystery to me what the OP is doing to cause the "mute".
