When opening a certain project file Vegas Pro 18 (on Windows 10) crashes after 13% loading. What could be the reason? Is there a chance to repair the file?
Try search for .veg.bak file (backup VEG project) and open this besides of .veg

Is it automatically loading project when you are starting up VP18? try turn off the auto-open recent project (need to do it via Options>Preferences, and uncheck :
If still doesn't work, try copy the project to different drive (or folder), or temporarily move the media sources you are working with to other location - make that VEG Project unable to locate that media when you are loading it and will asked you where the location is - here just keep it offline temporarily.
If this method successful and can open the project, then possibly one of any media format you are working is not friendly. Save as this project as new file... just make a backup.
