Quality problem in motion

roger-c schrieb am 08.08.2020 um 22:06 Uhr

Hi,

I would like to upload videos to GTA 5 but can't get anything correct.
I tried all the formats, bit rate, with tutorials on youtube and forum but I cannot find a solution to my problem.
I tried all the basic solutions (increase the bitrate, disable sampling, change the format, etc ...), the video on my side is perfect but once on youtube it's bad. The only thing I could see is that if the image does not move too much the quality is perfect (as you will see in the example) but once in motion I lose all the quality :

Anyone know why?

The solutions I have already tried :

- Changed format (I tried all possible formats but nothing to do).

- Increase the flow (base recommend at 15 million and even at 150 million it does not work better).

- Disable GPU acceleration.

- Change FPS : 60, 30.

- Disable sampling (or set it to 1 of the 3 available options).

- Render with only the GPU or CPU or CUDA (available).

- Export the video in 2k or 4k (important, I prefer 1920x1080).

- Try with another computer (from 2 different brands).

- Try with another connection.

- Try with another version of the software (the 11 ((I had the best quality

with)), the 13 (the one I use as a base), the 17 to try).

- Try with another game.

- Factory reset the PC (try with the basic drivers and with the updated drivers).

- Use first and last version of the bios.

- Record the gameplay with Nvdia GeForce, Fraps, Obs.

- Use handbrake.

The craziest thing in all of this is that I used to upload videos regularly without having this problem and I haven't changed anything since. I have asked friends who make the same kind of video for help but to no avail yet they have better quality for weaker settings and material.

Anyone can make good quality video so I don't see why I couldn't ...

I do not provide a screenshot of my settings or file details because I have tried absolutely everything.

I can reset vegas pro 13 (with CTRL + SHIFT) and delete my templates (with% appdata%) and do your

manipulation to make tests (take into account that I would have reset everything by default).

EDIT :

My Config :

Processor : Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700 CPU @ 3.20GHz (12 CPUs), ~3.2GHz

Memory : 16384MB RAM

Card name : NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080

Card name : Intel(R) UHD Graphics 630

Mostly due to render with too low bitrate.
What are your sourcefiles exactly?

Or you're rendering with a different framerate than the framerate of your source media and active resampling will result in ghosting and blurry motion images. Where is your example?

The source file is 50 million.
I tried out 15, 30, 50, 60 million but the same.

No I tried with the same frame rate 60 and it's not good (even with 30). I don't know why my video was deleted from my main post :

Sorry, I have no experience in gameplay recordings and don't understand that a pro editing NLE like Vegaspro is used to edit such recordings.

I can't see anything strange in your example, maybe it's intended motion blur.

Did you watch the video on your phone or tablet?
The problem is very obvious on PC.

EDIT :

I add an image with the difference

I watched it on my phone only.

What is "quick picture"?

What is "quick picture"?

An image where I move.
If I drive slowly I have good quality but when I start to go faster I lose all the quality ...

I'm unable to watch it

I deleted the main video by mistake :

My impression is the bitrate drops dramatically when you speed up. You have indicated your export file is okay so presumably it's YouTube's re-encoding for streaming that is mucking it up?

Exactly.
There is a solution?

There have been several threads on getting the best quality from YouTube. You've probably searched and found them. This recent one may help.

This is the only solution I could find ...
On the other hand I do not agree because before I already had videos without VP9 in very good quality ...
I think there are other parameters not known to YouTube for the quality ...
