Rendering looses some parts...blackout

walter-born schrieb am 11.02.2018 um 14:09 Uhr

Rendering my latest project results in random blackout of some video parts. There seems to be no rule for it. Just after rendering some of the parts are marked „media offline“. Once clicking on them and that marking is gone.

No error message during rendering though.

Now spending the next session of aboit 10 times trying 30 minutes of rendering and waiting for the surprise result.

Any hints on this

@cornico
I did use the third one but I swear when I copied the settings above I read 8mbits.
Will try again now with all 3 of them and GPU on and then off. (Nvidia Gforce GTX 980)

#5 here: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-why-does-my-rendered-video-look-bad-troubleshooting-quality--103361/

What format is your source footage and how was it created?

Thank you for the link.
Sources are different sizes:
Starts with a 4K picture(Iphone 7plus) and goes on with 4K video from Mavic, raw format, in beetween there are some more pictures and some 1920x1080 video from Iphone. It is nothing of real importance, but I would really like to understand.
The blackout appear on the 4K track from the Mavic only and is always full takes missing.
During rendering theose blackouts can be seen, so I can stop the rendering as it makes no sens to continue.
I repaired this yesterday by copying the original Vegas file to a new name, imported the rendered video and filled the blackouts with the missing takes, which works fine.

None of these settings ends in a positive result.
With GPU rendering ends with a finished video but with blanks
Without GPU the same, only the middle one(INtel) ends with following error.
Error "Used Codec does not support rendering settings"

Now I will try ProRes setting and see what happens. Only as I can see rendering with Pro res needs almost 7times the length of the finished film. Almost 48 minutes for 7 minutes of raw material. Well...if it finishes well...

Is there any basic rendering setting that works on any machine with any kind of dummy sitting in front of the screen? ;)
