Great -- now you understand how to post a screenshot!

Now please post a screenshot of your Global Settings tab. The screenshot that you posted is the Program settings tab. We need to see Global Settings.

Hello David:

First congrats on figuring out the screenshot thing. You can use Bold, [I]Italics[/I], and so on to highlight key points. Pretty cool, eh?

A couple of questions:

1. Based on your screenshot of the Global Settings, I'm going to guess that you have only the Nvidia graphics card and no other? For example, on my laptop I have two cards (an Intel and Nvidia). So my Global settings gives me an option to choose one or the other, or to choose auto-select based on the computer's demand for power.

2. What version is your Nvidia Control Panel?

3. What is your Driver version? (Choose "About" in the Control Panel to display this information.)

4. Did you install NewBlue Titler Pro version 1 or 2?

5. Can you run this product as a standalone by going to All Programs/NewBlue and launching the TestHost? If no, what error message to you get?

Now a suggestion:

6. Make a Restore Point or System Image of your current computer configuration. Then uninstall NewBlue Titler Pro. Reboot, then see if Vegas Pro 12 will launch. If it does, open a Help Ticket with NewBlue. In my experience they are very responsive to Help Tickets.

7. If Vegas Pro 12 does not launch, you can restore and continue trouble shooting.

I have 1-2 more ideas, but please consider trying the above first.

Regards,

Kimberly

I have had this problem of loading Vegas stalling at initiating GPU data. The fix, in my case, was to update the Nvidia driver to exactly the same version as already installed and working. I've no idea what the actual problem was, but it affected both Vegas Pro and Photoshop CS4 (both use GPU acceleration). PS would display a blank page instead of an image, but when the image tag was clicked and held a transparent image would show. Vegas Pro just stalled in loading. Updating (reinstalling) the Nvidia driver fixed both programs.
