Timeline media turns into black screen when painted under loop region.

Issues with Vegas 21 Retrograde and VHS Effects

I am experiencing issues with my default Vegas effects in Vegas Pro 21: Retrograde and VHS. When either of these effects are applied to a clip, it turns the clip black. It is only when i toggle to color processing down to 0 that the clip shows back
