  So my iphone 13 footage works almost fine on vegas pro 21 (still clunky and crashes, but works 90% of the time). But with my new iphone 16 footage the audio is not working. It works at the start sometimes but then randomly decides to stop working.

  @LdM_Edit is correct that it can be done on one track. However you do it, you have to control the mask location and the intensity of the blur effect. You can switch the blur effect on and off by saving a preset and applying it where needed.
