  First add the video to the timeline. Then right click on the event and add an Fx. You can also change the event and track settings to show a Fx button right on them.

  @Craig-Rogers I think the secret here is, when the tooltip appears, choose what to do.I've just tried and it's never failed, providing I choose the action when the tooltip appears.It's also better if you expand the track height a bit.

  @chell ... Have you ever used silhouette standalone? No, I've never used Silhouette at all. But BorisFX's Particle Illusion (OFX plugin) uses nodes. How long ago did you start using Vegas? I got ULead Video Studio (it may have been an SE version)

  Thanks @Abdali, now I see what you are reporting. It's not an issue with playback but rather moving the audio or video once ungrouped. My normal workflow involves unrelated audio and video tracks so I didn't notice this.

  @paul-marshall, I didn't have to create any tracks in VP22 for the copy/paste. I just did what you did (Ctrl A, Ctrl C) and in a blank VP22, Ctrl V. Everything came over.

  Have you tried to see if “Rewrap” helps? Another thing you could try is to extract the audio track in Shutter Encoder using the “Extract” “Audio” function and see if it is then recognized completely in Vegas. It didn't work unfortunately 😞

  @ajizu-t Why do you add so many audio FX to audio events? A large amount of audio FX on events does indeed cause lag. If these audio FX are exactly the same, please add them to Track FX.

  @EricLNZ I'm updated to build 250. The files open in Vegas, but even though the audio track is visible, there is no sound. The files in question are MPEG-TS files, so I tried to download and import them as MXF files instead, and that worked! Good
