RE: V21 Video media generators - does anyone use them?
@wilco-n A lot of us have Boris Continuum which has multiple fxs, many have other plugin fxs too. Also I have the free version of Happy Otter Scripts that will open an image on the VP timeline in a photo editor of choice (for me that's GIMP), there

RE: I'm Tired of Vegas Slander
@Dexcon Absolutely spoiled with a whole 6 video tracks! I'm not even sure what I'd do with three audio tracks, let alone two. I think you made the right choice with switching, haha! My playback has also been great for the most part, and I finally

Vegas Pro 23: Waveforms Shift Depending on Zoom Level
I’m having an issue in Sony Vegas Pro 23 that I’m not sure how to properly describe, but I’ll try to be as clear as possible. If needed, I can record a short video demonstrating the problem. Here’s what’s happening: I drag a video clip that includes

RE: I don't have FX Noise Gate
The 'Track Noise Gate' is a DX (Direct X) plug. Look for it in the 'Vegas' or 'Automatable plug-n folders. It is bare bones with very few settings and is pretty much useless for anything complex. If you have VST noise gates, you can try 'Enable

RE: Severe lag when cutting or moving clips in VEGAS Pro 23 (4K 25fps)
@Cyrielle said: "My media files are recorded in Sony XAVC-S (AVC) format, 3840x2160, 25 fps (PAL), with progressive scan and limited color range." Which camera are you using? Why is your audio track mono? Is the audio from another source? Hi

RE: Vegas Pro 23 - AI Auto Reframe is zooming with pictures?
Thanks again for all the hints. It’s clear now that this isn’t really a fully usable feature yet. I just hope it eventually gets to the point where I only need to make small adjustments after the reframe, instead of running into what feels like a

RE: Loudness Meters - should you care of it?
@set Hi, I suggest that you get and install Youlean Loudness Meter (free version works fine). Apply it to the master strip in the Mixer. It will be pre-fader. In the free version, there are limited parameters for the max. LUFS. I select ASWG P which

RE: Timeline Resets After 24 Hours in Vegas Pro 22
Hello again @akrusche 🙂 At first glance, I noticed that with different Ruler time format options, some don’t reset and continue counting correctly, but as I mentioned, Time and Time and Frames do reset the counter. Anyway, it turns out I wasn’t

RE: What application will play Vegas-created 1920x1080-24p .avc files?
I just tried converting the .avc file to .mov and to .mp4, using VideoProc Converter. Media Player plays both .mov and .mp4 now, but there is no audio. Also, the video is running slightly faster then the original as I was creating the Multicamera

RE: Vegas Pro 23: Waveforms Shift Depending on Zoom Level
In Vegas Pro 23, I am getting a difference in waveform track display based on the zoom level (using audio from the same source), but the audio events themselves don't move on the timeline so presumably there's no change in audio syncing - or does

RE: Velocity Envelope Points in Vegas 23
There seems to be a time delay in vp23 between pointing to an envelope point or segment before it actually connects to it. If I don't count to 3 before pressing the mouse button, I end up grabbing the clip instead of the envelope and throwing it out

RE: VP22 vs VP23 rendering speed, VP23 ½ slower than VP22...?
At the risk of hijacking your post... this is from the project I'm working on right now. I'm getting roughly 2x greater Nvidia render speed with hd 24/48 renders with vp23 and 5x for 4k hevc 35/70 on an 11900k. My media is 3 10bit 4k hevc and 1 8bit

RE: With 20 years of Vegas experience, my perspective on Vegas Pro 23.
Full handling of 32-bit Float audio would be a major improvement for those of us who direct, shoot and record audio, often while performing in front of the camera. Recording myself performing in a club would be far easier if I didn't have to worry
