    RE: Multicam Workflow Question
Does it go out of sync if rippling is set to affect all tracks? I manually extended events or used a mute composite envelope to make more precise cuts myself.

RE: Please Fix: Vegas 23 Audio fX Window Mis-operation Unhandled Exception
@3POINT I occasionally add a Volume FX to an audio event in order to increase its volume. The volume line can only be dragged down. You cannot raise it to increase the gain. At least that's my experience. Maybe there's something I've missed. As an

RE: A Candid Story from a User Who Wants to Keep Using VEGAS Pro 23
@Howard-Vigorita I took a look at Resolve a while back before purchasing Vegas 21 I think it was. I found it to be a very confusing program to use. Way above my skill level. I always come back to Vegas after looking at other programs. Even on my old

RE: Randomly Can't move the GAIN Slider on a clip.
Actually, the last vp23 beta that produced favorable results was vp23 b302 which was initially posted as a public beta and became an official release after a couple of weeks of commentary as indicated in the announcement history:Vp23 b356 was later

RE: VP23 (or any version) Keeping track of text events on timeline
There's an internal preference to "Move Selection on Edit" that does not seem to be working. But I don't really know what that's supposed to do. When you click on an event's button to Edit Generated Media, the selection should move to that event, it

    RE: Multicam Workflow Question
I'm going to make a screen recording and post it here so you can see what I'm describing, and maybe you can point out where I've gone wrong.... @MikeLV Looks like ripple is ON and causing everything on the edited track to move. That won't happen if

RE: I don't have FX Noise Gate
Normally, noise gate is already automatically in place. You would be able to see it in the track header (click on the three dots). But in the view you showed, click on one of the yellow folders on the left. Noise gate will be in the VEGAS list.

    RE: Multicam Workflow Question
@RogerS's process worked, nothing got out of sync doing it that way. If you don't keep the muted events and you have a mistake, when you expand back out to multiple tracks, you can't undo the camera switch because it deletes all those muted events.

RE: Same effect continu on multiple images
An adjustment track allows for Pan/Crop to be added to adjustment events. For all intents and purposes in this scenario Pan/Crop is essentially an "effect" in the adjustment event so you can zoom in and out cohesively to your heart's content across

    RE: Multicam Workflow Question
I don't follow what you're saying about pip. My issue isn't with the multicam cuts part. It's making edits after making the cuts. You can't ripple edit because it goes out of sync when you try to make edits after expanding back out to multiple

RE: Sony Vegas Resets my Preferences everytime I close it
@Ismael-Rodriguez, open VEGAS, make all the changes you want to any preferences (track settings, etc...). Now CLOSE VEGAS. Next open VEGAS again and you'll see that your preferences are brought back. The problem is, if it crashes, those changes

    RE: Problem with UI Lag
lots of files with effects on them @sundaysi Do you mean you've used a lot of Audio Event FX? Excessive Audio Event FX can indeed cause latency issues. It's better for you to use Track FX instead, which will significantly reduce latency problems.

RE: How to remove music from the first audio using the second audio?
@capslk In your original post, you mentioned a music-only track. If exists, please include with your sample file. WAV is better for post processing to be valid. Flac is another good choice. But if you throw it into a zip for download, wav &

RE: Half of my clip missing ?
@BMR-D  You've got an FX on the track what is that doing? You've got Pan/Crop adjusted on the event? Set the Preview to 100%. Check, reset or turn off these things & then see if it still doesn't show correctly.

RE: How to remove music from the first audio using the second audio?
The phase inversion method could work. Aside from the steps @DMT3 mentioned, you also have to balance the mix of the two tracks to get the cancelation that you want. Possibly, you might have to deal with stereo balance, too.

    RE: Multicam Workflow Question
@MikeLV If you're doing some snips before going into Multicam edit mode, you could always put Pip-FX on each camera track and home-brew a preview similar to multicam edit. I do that before anything even though I don't do any snip-outs till after
