RE: Anyone notice images rotated w/small push using PIP get "soft"?
Isn't obvious with multicam editing that everything is disabled that could hamper a fluent preview, which is crucial for multicam editing? Adding Fx, LUT's, stabilization etc etc is the last step in the editing process (before exporting/rendering)

RE: Scene detection in Vegas pro 21. How to mark clips to properly move
@Jimbo If you just want to manually select them after you've done the Scene Detection split, go to Project Media & choose the Main Timeline at the bottom, hold Ctrl & click to select the ones you want to highlight on the track, then drag

RE: [Closed] Cursor/Scrollbar/Scrubber not moving when playing
@fwtep I think the thing that causes it in b356 is maximizing the track. Removing min/max from the visible button-set for audio and video tracks has let me continue using b356 which has a multicam edit fix that I need more than those buttons. Has

RE: COLOR GRADING automation/keyframe Hell
Btw, I used to automate cgp by applying it directly to the camera footage events and then splitting the event with a crossfade back on itself. Until I discovered that crossfading adjust events is much quicker rendering and previewing. Also works

RE: Updating an SD MiniDV project to HD in Vegas Pro 23
I've been doing Vegas AI Upscales from HD to 4K but only for the individual hd/ptz I embed on-stage while using 4k cameras for everything else which I shoot from farther away. HD to 4K for a 2- to 3-hour concert takes many hours, even with a 5080

RE: Subject: Vegas Pro 23 - Persistent Thumbnail Cache Purging
@Keky Sounds like you do allot of run-and-gun which I don't. I devote a project to each day, venue, and edit-step. I only turn cameras off during intermissions, am able to get rid of all the frames I don't want selecting cameras in multicam edit,

RE: Anyone notice images rotated w/small push using PIP get "soft"?
@RedRob-CandlelightProdctns Besides media-level being the obvious place for a media fix, event fx are ignored while in multicam mode (not sure if media fx are too) ... I've found that in multi-cam edit mode with the camera windows displayed during

RE: Scene detection in Vegas pro 21. How to mark clips to properly move
@Jimbo Your clip/s are already on the timeline, what i suggested was just to select the ones on the timeline using the Project Media window. The clips on the timeline will highlight (click G on the keyboard if you want to group them) then drag them

RE: Scene detection in Vegas pro 21. How to mark clips to properly move
Thanks so much for trying, and the multicam idea was clever, but I think the (long) way I do it now is faster. Typically, for a one hour clip, scene detect cuts about 100 clips. Dragging them onto a single track in the timeline, and then creating a

RE: Anyone notice images rotated w/small push using PIP get "soft"?
Pan/crop is the obvious tool to give a rotation and adding some zooming (to avoid resulting black borders, BUT With the Vegas stereoscopic 3D fx you can also rotate the image, but you don't need to add a zoom to avoid the resulting black borders,

RE: Scene detection in Vegas pro 21. How to mark clips to properly move
@Jimbo Try out Scene Detection, there's a few more controls in there. You can choose the Events or Regions (if you add regions from Scene detection) in 'Edit Details' & select the ones you want, but as you have one clip cut into parts they'll
