RE: Anyone notice images rotated w/small push using PIP get "soft"?
Isn't obvious with multicam editing that everything is disabled that could hamper a fluent preview, which is crucial for multicam editing? Adding Fx, LUT's, stabilization etc etc is the last step in the editing process (before exporting/rendering)

RE: Multicam Workflow Question
@MikeLV If you're doing some snips before going into Multicam edit mode, you could always put Pip-FX on each camera track and home-brew a preview similar to multicam edit. I do that before anything even though I don't do any snip-outs till after

multicam preview dark screen
When previewing a multicam edit, the preview image is normal with multiple tracks, but when shifted to the single image edited track it goes dark. I have Vegas Pro 22 Build 250. ChatGPT says that version still has a multicam preview brightness bug —

RE: Feature requests: retain fx entering Multicam Edit & many event fx
@Al_Korzonas is it not usual to edit/trim first in a multicam project and after that when switching back to the final timeline adding fx/color corrections etc? Adding fx/color corrections before, could hamper a fluent preview while editing/trimming

RE: Feature requests: retain fx entering Multicam Edit & many event fx
👍2nd the motion. At least for Media-fx & VideoBus-fx which currently get bypassed during multicam edit even if I apply them after making the multicam track. Makes shooting multicam with log media very difficult without the trouble of rendering

RE: multicam preview dark screen
@Ernie Did you use fx on the clips to lighten them before making the multicam track? If so, fx get stripped off upon creation of the multicam track and the clips will get darker.

RE: Feature requests: retain fx entering Multicam Edit & many event fx
A lot of things in multicam editing don't make sense. An overhaul is long due. I posted this 5 years ago... https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/a-few-thoughts-about-vegas-multicam-editing--125582/

V23 not showing names in Multicam
Hello. Today I wanted to edit movie with 21 takes. I made everything like before I was shooting that many takes - I named video layers with their unique name to know what camera is on frame but when I turned on multicam editing I don't see any names

RE: Multicam Workflow Question
Once multicam is done it really is the same as any other multitrack timeline.

RE: Upgrading from Vegas Pro 20 to 23 - Opinions
I get my best nvenc render performance with my multicam hevc 420 projects using vp23. Fly in the ointment for me is vp23 envelope editing clumsiness... vp20 through vp22 are much more adept at that. I started a number of my larger projects with vp22

Feature requests: retain fx entering Multicam Edit & many event fx
When you go into Multicam Edit, all event fx are removed. Why? Why not leave them? I went through each event for each camera, color corrected, adjusted brightness and contrast, and added a little sharpness on one camera, then all that work

RE: Is there easy way to cut overlapping clips from different tracks
@MarkAnthony121 Looks like you shot with multiple cameras and split the left-side manually and then deleted the angles you didn't want. If you use multicam edit mode to create a multicam track to do the splits, it'll give you the option to delete

Multicam sometimes cuts at non-current position (bug?)
Okay, so I've edited a bunch of multicam since it was introduced in Vegas. And I can't seem to figure out why SOMETIMES Vegas acts weirdly and applies cuts to the starting cursor position, rather than where it is currently up to. In the video,

RE: Multicam Workflow Question
even if muted events get deleted, you should still be able to drag the in/out points of the remaining events on either side of the deleted event to restore it. Edit: I just saw your video. You never want to use auto-ripple with multicam editing.

My fav from my latest concert project... audio mix done with vp22. Then 4-camera multicam all with vp23 which went so smoothly & quickly, I felt obliged to give it a credit...

RE: Multicam Workflow Question
I don't follow what you're saying about pip. My issue isn't with the multicam cuts part. It's making edits after making the cuts. You can't ripple edit because it goes out of sync when you try to make edits after expanding back out to multiple

RE: [Closed] Cursor/Scrollbar/Scrubber not moving when playing
@fwtep I think the thing that causes it in b356 is maximizing the track. Removing min/max from the visible button-set for audio and video tracks has let me continue using b356 which has a multicam edit fix that I need more than those buttons. Has

RE: COLOR GRADING automation/keyframe Hell
Btw, I used to automate cgp by applying it directly to the camera footage events and then splitting the event with a crossfade back on itself. Until I discovered that crossfading adjust events is much quicker rendering and previewing. Also works
