@VVV I've watched your video and you don't show which auto ripple mode is selected. As @Gid says, click the down arrow next to the auto ripple icon and make sure that the 'Affected tracks' mode is selected.

When I tried the script, it almost worked perfectly. It caused there to be an expanding skew between the video and audio tracks. I have never used the loop regions before, so perhaps I made a mistake?

I always just right-click and drag to the timeline and choose "Video Only". If you have multiple clips selected, it will apply to all of them and you can choose "Across Time" or "Across Tracks".

Thanks @Abdali, now I see what you are reporting. It's not an issue with playback but rather moving the audio or video once ungrouped. My normal workflow involves unrelated audio and video tracks so I didn't notice this.
