RE: Media Size handled diff if "Legacy AVC Decoder" isn't used! RE: Neat
In a long-form project (e.g 1.5 hours +), some FX including Neat NR if applied to a lot of video events can really slow down the render time of the project, so what I've done for a long time is to create another project solely to apply FX such as

@zzzzzz9125 Great! Saved me quite some time to figure out how to do it. I changed it to apply this to selected media only, but it works like a charm :-) using System; using ScriptPortal.Vegas; public class EntryPoint { public static Vegas

RE: Best settings for seamless shorts loop
Please describe what you are doing to create the loop. Sorry, I didn't see a notification for the last reply. In simple terms my question is, what video render settings should I use for making loopable videos for shorts platforms such as TikTok,

Black screen to white screen transitions
I am editing a video where I have used a camera and OBS so editing the footage of me talking to camera with a video of the screen. Where the screen on one track is dark/black and the other is white, the change over is jarring. This is a fast cutting

RE: Broadcast Safe - V22 vs V17
Hi John, I can't stop struggling with Legacy 8 bit because I have 13 fully rendered programs and I can't go back to each program on the original timeline with lots of tracks and start adjusting every single clip in my program to fit that setup

RE: VP22 vs VP23 rendering speed, VP23 ½ slower than VP22...?
A quick test with a simple project, it seems VP23 projects can't be opened in VP22 Typically, a .veg project is not able to be opened in an earlier VP version. An exception was possibly VP13 back to VP12 and there may have been one other instance

RE: [Closed] Where has Firewire gone?
Well I'm still surprised."Vegas is a video editor at the first place, its (H)DV-capture feature was in my opinion never a good capture feature". Sorry to disagree but firewire was the central way of capturing, from Vegas Video 3 onwards, which is

RE: Move tracks in the Mixing Console to right of the Preview and Master?
I believe this user is referring to the fact that the Preview fader is always docked on the left side of the Mixing Console and the Master fader is always docked to the right side of the Mixing console, with all the tracks docked in

RE: Is there easy way to cut overlapping clips from different tracks
@MarkAnthony121, unfortunately the "donate" button isn't working at the moment. I need to go into Paypal and see what's happening there. Apparently I need some other kind of account? Glad to hear it worked for you. It's probably not the "most

RE: VEGAS Pro 22 Build 250 General Discussion
Hi, I'm working with original songs and wanted to add captions and this is a lot easier if you have a separate vocal track and using the "AI Speech to text" function, but why does it add an ending dot on each line? I wish I knew a better way since

RE: How to see sound on the timeline as a wave and as a spectrogram?
Not a perfect solution but you can render the audio clip into a spectrogram video clip and put that under the audio on the timeline. You should then see preview thumbs of the video under the audio track. They'll be be more discontinuous than the

RE: Add Media Across Tracks feature New Bug(VEGAS Pro 22 build 239)
My multi-track audio flash recorder records mono clips and dropping them across tracks is the way I get them into my Vegas projects. It's the 1st thing I do in a new project and I always aim for origin. Been using b239 lately and release the mouse

RE: Can anyone suggest a way to accomplish the effect in this video?
@Len Kaufman said: "I shot this is 23.976. And I need to slow it down, to make it more dramatic." I redid the project in Vegas 13 to be more inclusive for those who are curious. There is an ~8.3 second version for 23.976 fps and a ~6.6 second

RE: AI-generated morph transition script between two selected clips

It looks like that there is just the one audio event on the audio track of a long project. It might be that if it is a .wav file the file exceeds ,wav size specs. If you go to Options/Preferences/File I/O (tab) in Vegas Pro 22, check the checkboxes
